Palisade Improvement areas

Overall the vehicle is exceptional. A few areas that could be improved: 1) The windshield wipers are not designed to stay up on their own. When hand washing the windshield, you have to hold the windshield wiper blades up in one hand and wash the window with the other, vs. being able to have them stay up on their own. 2) The mud flaps are really two small. They don't cover the full width of the tires and don't go down low enough to cover a lot of the mud/dirt/water that comes up off the tires.

Good cruiser, almost a minivan replacement in SUV form

Pretty happy with this car, drives great, very comfortable, best configuration of space of any SUV in its class. My only digs are on the illogical dashboard layout, suboptimal Navigation system, no wireless Apple Carplay, the lower quality of the materials inside and out and the substandard fuel economy even when driving in Econo mode. I think they're coming out with a hybrid for 2026, so that should help. But Hyundai, please focus on quality, durability and value, not just tech features as though vehicle is a cheap phone.

Not happy

It’s loud, tires are not durable, two flats. One charging port inoperative. Services department leadership has not responded to my concerns in over a month to address 3day diagnostic period without customer accommodation.

Has been much less than I expected.

Car was delivered in less than clean condition. The windshield still had marks from the suction device used to install it. When finally cleaned, there is a scratch on the glass on the inside of the windshield. I spent over a week on and off trying to get an answer on whether the vehicle had wireless Android Auto (which it doesn't, but I was told that it did before purchase). The touch door locks work only sporadically.

Love everything but the smell

I had a 2023 palisade and had no issues with smell. Loved it so much I traded it in for the 2025. I love everything about the way it drives but there’s an odor that we can’t get to go away. It was brand new but yet had 80 miles on it somehow. I hope nothing happened but it’s this constant strong smell that even after airing it out, leaving windows down, it still smells 2-3 mo later. I took it to the dealership and they didn’t even try to find a cause. I switched out the air filters and bombed it. Had it detailed. The smell went away for like two days and now it’s back. It lingers on our clothing after we’ve been in the car longer than an hour. Not sure if it’s the leather or what but it’s making me want to get something else.

New Car - Less Features

Did a trade-in for what was supposed to be the exact same car - but apparently they've removed many features and put them in a new version of the Palisade. Some features in this version simply don't work well at all anymore.

Mostly excellent, needs a bigger engine, a power tilt steering wheel, and a trailer hitch that doesn't cost a thousand dollars or more. Also, the dealer needs to fill all of the fluid levels (like windshield washer fluid).

I love my new Palisade. It's comfortable, very well made, and the interior materials used are of very high quality. The infotainment, although loaded with features, is very intuitive and easy to learn. My Caligraphy is loaded with features and I am thoroughly enjoying it.

Great safety and comfort features.

Upon renting a Hyundai Santa Fe, I feel absolutely in love with all of the safety features. The blinker cameras had me hooked immediately! About two weeks after returning from vacation I began researching mid size SUV's with blinker cameras. I decided against the Kia Telluride, even though it is highly rated, due to the poor performance of our local dealership. I truly do not care for the front end of the 2025 Santa Fe. Since the Palisades always comes up highly rated, the search was on for a good deal. Bay Hyundai won me over!
