Nice vehicle except for electrical/electronic issues

Nice comfortable vehicle and quiet. Has some very nice features but we’ve had issues with several of them plus several recalls and dead battery issues.

Hazardous recall

I purchased this vehicle for my wife and she loves it, but our kid got trapped in the sea fooling down and would not have been able to get out without my assistance. We have currently been in a match, smaller and not as nice rental sense of incident waiting for Hyundai to come up with a fix for the recall. Without the recall, it would easily be a 4 1/2 star everything is nice, but when the safety of your children are at risk, it really puts a damper on the raising. We are hoping to get our Palisade back soon and it be safe for our family.

Very good in all but a room for improvement as well

First I like there is a choice for leave and autolock door function. I had a Chevy traverse and it's so convenient I walked away with the key and door locked automatically after 5 seconds or 15 feet away from the car without doing anything. At least Hyundai can update the software and add this function. Secondly, I hope I can turn off the auto stop which I dislike it at all. I know I can hit the button to stop it. But every time I start the engine I have to do it gain. I wish the system can remember my choice.

Has all the bells and whistles but lacking camera clarity

I really love the car. I wish that the cameras were more accurate like my Toyota Tundra. Also, the cameras doesn’t automatically appear on my dashboard when I’m slowing down or parking. I have to manually push the camera button below the dashboard

Great vehicle a lot of room for your bigger guys.

Just wanted to share my thoughts on my 2026 Hyundai Palisade Limited. Overall, I absolutely love this vehicle. It’s incredibly comfortable, has a smooth ride, and is packed with great features that make every drive enjoyable. The interior feels high-end, and there’s plenty of room for passengers and cargo. One thing I really appreciate is the tow capacity—it gives me the flexibility I need without sacrificing comfort or performance. That said, my experience hasn’t been perfect. While the vehicle itself is fantastic, dealing with refunds for warranties from a previous Hyundai has been frustrating and time-consuming. I hope Hyundai improves this process because it definitely takes away from an otherwise great ownership experience. All in all, I highly recommend the Palisade Limited for anyone looking for a reliable, stylish, and capable SUV—just be aware of potential challenges when handling warranty-related refunds.

Seat issues are the main problem I have

My seats were not functioning properly about a month after purchasing the car. That was the main reason I purchased the vehicle because of ease of access to the third row to buckle in my toddler. There is now concerning recall on the seats which place my kids in great danger.

Recall Heavy

Genuinely the palisade was perfect until they messed with the seats with the software update. The update left my third row nearly non functional as the adults I carry can’t maneuver into toe third row now that the seats don’t fold down and I can’t put toddlers in the third row because I can’t get the seat to move enough to buckle them.
