Backseat would not fold. 2 months to fix Sucks gas at 18/24 miles per gallon. Rust on exterior brace. Key fob needs 20 ft from vehicle

The First Car I looked at.

After 20 years it was time for a new SUV, I made a list of SUV's I wanted to look at. My first and last stop was the local Hyundai dealer. I was sold on the car and the no pressure sales.

Glitchy - too much tech - comfortablle

Summary is that we miss our Subaru Ascent. This car is beautiful on the interior, but repeated 'weird' occurrences with the tech mar the overall impression. It locks on you while you are approaching. It seems to lock people inside and you can't figure out how to unlock it. The screen is super slow and the timing makes the settings difficult to manage as while I'm fiddling and trying to change back from my 5' wife, I am getting thrown into the steering wheel. Real buttons for some things are just better. We'll get used to it, I would just say its a just fine car. Also, it was annoying to realize there is no manual override to raise the automatic 3rd row seats. My wife has to put it into sport mode or she isn't comfortable pulling out into traffic.

Died at 2300 miles

Car was great until I lost power at 2300 miles at a stop light. Service can’t figure out why and it’s been 3 days.

Overall the new Palisade is smooth riding and a pleasure to drive

The ride and comfort of the Palisade is excellent. I interior features above average in most respects front passenger compartment storage capacity. The glove compartment is too small and cannot even hold the factory manuals and books. The console storage is practically useless as well as the space in front of the console. All in all I rate the 2026 Palisade above my previous 2022 Palisade Calligraphy.

Misses the mark

This vehicle misses the mark of the things that matter. The driver's door button doesn't allow for a two punch to first open the driver's door, then all the doors. The manual says it does. You can try every option under the door setup screen and it just doesn't work. The lift gate is very slow to open. The shifting is much to be desired. The area in the front of the console and under it needs to be redesigned. It's not very usable. It drives smoothly. But, the V6 doesn't give you the power punch you'd expect to get up to speed. A garage door opener and sunglass holder should be standard on every truck. Especially these that are approaching $50k. You can't control the lightning. There are push button lights for the third row. Those should be on a switch to turn then off and on. You can tell where they completely cheaped out on the truck. But you may not recognize it until you raise it doesn't fit your lifestyle or needs.
