Great vehicle, really enjoy the utility of the truck bed. Wish it was just a little bigger in the CAB. I didn't realize it was built on a Tuscon, and thought it was a Santa Fe. Coming from a Santa Fe, it was a little smaller.

I would buy it again

I love the vehicle! The ride is comfortable the ability to pass vehicles on the highway is it great? The styling is fantastic. My only complaint is the recall, and Bluetooth as far as getting drivers score.

Super utilitarian

Look, I think the Ford Maverick is a better "truck" but the Santa Cruz is more car-like. It is a better day-to-day driver and the utility is amazing. I've hauled more in this little thing than many of my friends who have 1/2 ton trucks. Back seat room is a bit tight, and I hate the dark plastics, but it's a joy to drive and own.

Love this vehicle EXCEPT for the locking system (it's awful & not single owner I've spoken to, of many, can't stand it either) and no powered rear window. It would be nice if they would/could provide more storage space. Otherwise a great vehicle.

Enjoy this vehicle Were used to pickup trucks but found it was harder for us to get in and out of new trucks. We looked at this truck and found it more like a car on entering and exiting so took it for a ride. Found it was good for us so purchased it.

start up issue ramdomly wont start interior roof insulation foorly made back seat is stiff to seat on windshield is also weak crack right away with little rock hit it. radio and nav go off qnd you need to re start the car to get it back on

One year ownership, the vehicle performs well. Only complaint is interior lights are a pain to operate. One push and you will need a engineering degree to them back to original point. The brakes tend to squeal even in good conditions. Overall very pleased with Santa Cruz

If it did not hassetate sometimes and had fx radio and bed cover it would be the perfect love driving the truck and can haul quite a load still handles great when loaded very fun to drive loaded or unloaded

I love my new SANTA CRUZ. It handles good and I like the styling of the body. The engine has plenty of horse power. and the seats and interior are comfortable! I like the way the dashboard is displayed. It's a keeper!

Thoughts

The Santa Cruz is a very nice truck option for consumers that do not want the classic look of a pickup truck. The styling interior and exterior is very modern and does not sacrifice the aforementioned type of consumers.

Love the appearance and the interior leg and head room but surprised with the mediocre quality of sound system and integrated control capabilities. Difficult to learn the Bluetooth capabilities and operation.

Good Blend of SUV and Truck

Bought a new 2023 SEL, overall happy with it although biggest complaint is that the non-LED headlights that came on it are terrible, huge safety issue. They corrected this on the 2024 models but have not made it possible to change them in my 2023. Have been happy with its versatility, good storage, rides well and is fairly quiet for a Truck/SUV. Handles well and plenty of power if your not a hot rodder. Pretty good in winter weather/roads but definitely need to use snow setting and will be putting better tires on it once factory one's wear out. Really like the looks but wish it was available in different colors (RED). Has been reliable so far but only 1 year old with 7500 mi's. Has met our need of an SUV and a Truck very well. Milage for mixed normal driving has averaged around 22/23, could be a little better and wish it would kick down to a lower gear when using the pedal like it does when using the cruze control. Assuming it maintains its reliability and durability we would consider another one down the road.

Great Vehicle with minor issues. Super Fun

Minor interior and reliability issues. Roof rack whistled and ultimately I had to remove it. After a year the fans start to make noises on cold starts and the edge to the window is a bit uncomfortable on my elbow but not too bad. It’s super fun to drive and I feel safe and confident on the road. I love the styling and look forward to further improvements on the model as a whole.

Great car/truck for the price, has get up and go when you need it to move, it gets good gas mileage, roomy for 4 to 5 people with a lot of storage under the seats and in the baed of the truck, love the tano cover over the bed

Nice second vehicle fun to drive decent gas mileage. I like the looks of the Santa Cruz inside and out. This is not a luxury model vehicle however a good value for the price paid. So far it’s been dependable and runs well.

As stated in review title I’m happy with the Santa Cruz so far. I had it for one year and it runs well. I believe it is a good value for the price. Sporty looking and functional. It’s not a luxury vehicle.

Great small truck but I had an issue

One month into purchasing a brand new 2023 Santa Cruz I had to have it service. The engine over heat light came on while I was on the highway. Had to stop and pull over immediately. Opened the hood and coolant was everywhere. The belt to the water pump "disintegrated"(dealership words). It took 7 days for a belt to come in. It took 3 days to get a rental. Apparently there is a wait list for rentals due to all the service issues. I gave it a 2 because of that. Lets see if we can go a year with no issues and that might change.
