Great SUV for its cost.

Bought this SUV used back in 2018. We honestly love it. It’s roomy (fits 7), and very comfortable. The interior is gorgeous and the detail is comparable to SUVs that you would pay in the 50k range for. Has a ton of options including lane keep assist, set distance cruise control, and many more! Mazda has really stepped it up!

Turbo Engine is Crap!

At 90000k, Turbo blew up and shot a piece of cast metal through exhaust manifold and into aluminum engine block... started overheating and losing a gallon of coolant every 100 miles... Mazda played dumb, but as off warranty, offered to replace engine, at the tune of $16000. Mazda won’t admit their product stinks and doesn’t stand behind it either! Stay away the lost our Business, 3rd time CX-9 Owner

18 months later...and still think it's an excellent buy.

We're 18 months and over 25,000 miles into this Mazda CX-9, and we still think we bought the right vehicle. It is comforable, and just the right size for us. We only use the third row in a pinch, otherwise, it's has too little space and hard to get into. The drive and handling are great, and it's very comfortable for road trips. I think that the Grand Touring is the right trim. You save a few thousand dollars off the signature trim. The adaptive cruise control and adaptive LED headlights are my favorite features. Exterior styling is awesome. So far, just needing regular maintenance. We're getting about 23 mpg in mixed driving, so EPA estimates seem right. Power is sufficient with regular unleaded gas,

Great 7 passenger Jet

I purchased a FWD CX- 9 Grand Touring with the electronic package. This car drives like a jet fighter pilot. The 2.0 Turbocharged engine optimization gives you all the power you need. The interior is of excellent quality and craftsmanship.

Navigation/Voice Recognition system in Mazda CX-9 far superior to Toyota Highlander

Except for the panoramic sunroof in the Highlander, the CX-9 is superior in almost all other key features. We are far happier with the CX-9 in just two days than we ever were with the Highlander.
