Purchased this car after exhaustive research and would be hard-pressed to want to ever replace it. Driving position seating position all make me feel extremely safe and secure in this vehicle. Visibility and ride height make it very comfortable to drive and get In and out of especially if you have back issues. On long highway trips getting 28 mpg makes me smile. This is my 3rd XC 70 and I enjoy getting into the car every day

Some serious mechanical issues Volvo doesn’t accept liability for
Two burned exhaust valves at 36000 miles-$6000 later. Transmission with lifetime fluid-no way. Burns a quart of oil every 500 miles-enviromental consciousness? Nav system is a joke as is rear camera. Otherwise love the car

Happy Driving
My XC70 is the best, most versatile, and most fun to drive vehicle I have ever owned. I will drive this one until the wheels fall off, and when that happens will buy another XC70. New of they still make them, used of Volvo does not.

This is my 5th volvo and I love the xc70. My only complaint is the lack of rear a/c vents to the cargo area. And next time I will get the electric seat adjustments on the passenger side. I also miss the custom windshield sunscreens you used to make

My Volvo
Love the car but it does not have heated seats as all my other volvos had. Also operating the navigation system is tedious so many times I just use google maps on my iPhone. Further, after asking you about alternate routes due to traffic it never stops asking no matter what the response. Sometimes the warnings are for several miles ahead and by the time you get there traffic has cleared up.

Reliable, easy to operate, safe and aesthetically appealing. Little extra maintenance. Only wish the seats aged better and when you drop something between the seats and center console, it is hard to retrieve.
