Volvo XC90

This is an excellent all purpose vehicle. It's as though you were driving a sports car handling bank vault on the road.. Sure and certain on track, but responsive and fast in maneuver. Any car that can get me from Sea-Tac to Manchester in 2 feet of snow with no problems is mine forever.

Our Volvo truck

Although the vehicle was purchased used and was driven for over 100k miles it has performed essentially like new. The "truck has performed extremely well with no major problems. I have not driven it in snow conditions due to the fact that we have had none this year.

Great for long trips

Great suv———— Comfortable smooth ride, reliable and safe. Xc90 was 2 years old when we purchased it. It was a dealer certified. It now has over 160k miles.

WAY above 'average'

With the first used XC90 we bought, we found it quieter, smoother ride that our Cadilac XTX. We eventually sold the XTS and bought a 2nd XC90. When the first one was totaled, we bought our 3rd XC90. The newer the year, small changes in technology we assume, the mpg got better. 19 around town and 24 on trips... safety and comfort vs 25-30 mpg ... all of life is trade offs. We can' see buying new cars any more. For $9K and $15K we are loving our $70K level cars.

2010 XC90

This auto has been great for 7.5 years and 125000 miles. Only one major repair costing $1000. A couple minor ones less than $300. Other than that kept up with basic maintenance stuff. This had an awesome maintenance plan of 5 years and warranty of 5 years. I don’t think Volvo offers this anymore.

Although the XC90 has short comings I feel it is by far the best in its class. I purchased this car for its appearance, comfort, value and reliability. This is my third Volvo.

2010 XC90 tank

1 month from 8 years and we are finally having to replace something, the water pump. Great in my book regarding most vehicles in this class.

XC90 Rocks!

This is my family's main mode of transportation and I feel super confident and safe driving her. The pick up is SWEET especially when you need to jet onto the on ramp. I love my AWD with NY Winters - I'm so fearless now especially with the anti-lock brake system. It's snug inside, definitely not for the XL. Problems? Have this funky smell in a/c during simmer months that they can't fix so i just spray pine air freshener in vents. Well, after 5 year warranty was up, cosmetic things started breaking down like rubber on door frame, hatch hydrolic hinges at $85 each, giant plastic pieces popping off (easily popped back on) and minor stuff like that.
