I brought my car in to be checked due to a scraping noise associated with the brakes. The brake team
staff in the Broadway shop exhibited a high degree of social intelligence. The work that had to be done was more than I expected and they explained everything, showed me the parts on my car and even did some extra work for very little due to my financial status. I left happy that I had found them and would highly recommend them to anyone!

I took my car in for oil change, ball joint & driver's side door latch. Turns out the door latch was
the most troublesome. Took longer than expected but John swore he wasn't leaving until it was fixed and he didn't. Door panel not completely resolved but I wanted my car even though a loaner was provided. John doesn't like leaving unresolved & I will take car back in a couple of days (after some errands are done) & get door panel resolved. I've taken my car to Dane Motors for a few years now & it's a relief taking my car to someone I trust.

Just had another oil change at PDX automotive. They put my car up on the rack and straighten out my
plastic skid pan in the front that had been snagged by something. They did it for no charge.

I was disappointed to learn that when the mechanic had all four wheels off for brake work, that the t
ires were not rotated at the same time. When I asked the mechanic about this,, he said it was not their "policy".
For some additional work that was scheduled I was quoted the price for the part, approximately $50.00dd. When I took the car in for the work I was told that the $50.00 part was not available and they had purchased a $300.00 part For that much difference I think a phone call would have been appropriate. I went ahead with the work but my bill was about 5 times what I had planned for.

I took my Honda for a belt squeaky, they called and couldn't duplicate but alerted me to a oil leak
that was leaking onto the belt. They quoted me the price fixed it and my problem went away. Love how communicative they were.
