I was in a pinch and needed some strut coils transferred from old to the new ones. I called around an
d found most of the shops in bend Oregon told me they had a two week Backlog? I was bringing in parts not the car. So basically the others didn’t want my business. I saw maintain view out of the corner of my eye . I stopped in, was kindly greeted and wow the gal in the office said,” sure we can do it today”, cool I was happy. They called me in under two hours stating my struts are ready. Very impressed. I found a great place to take my cars when needed.

VAP was able to fix several issue with one repair: the motor/transmission mounts. Our Golf would crea
k and generally not handle as it once did.
It turns out that it was the mounts, and the engine/transmission was sagging so much that it was rubbing on the aftermarket aluminum belly pan. The real issue is we had just replaced the engine 8 months ago, and that shop (a different one, who shall remain nameless) neglected to replace the mounts.
Now, everything is tight, and came in ~$200 under estimate! We will be taking all of our cars to VAP Auto.
