Excellent mechanics. I came here to un-do what turned out to be an exhaust part mistake that I made.
In essence, I had a rusty OEM muffler that I wanted to delete and replace with another one, but that other one turned out to be insanely loud because it was free-flow and no better than a muffler delete. My previous car had full exhaust work done on it, including added resonators/dampeners for sound, so I was used to feeling/hearing something when I shifted (manual). Luckily, I found this place! I followed their professional advice on what could be done and decided to get my previous muffler swapped out for one of theirs. They welded everything in and added a muffler that, unlike the OEM one, let through low-frequency vibrations. This is what I wanted from the beginning, but I know little about mufflers and the mechanic I normally go to for maintenance told me to figure it out. Anyway, since it's a car that is used as a taxi (many hours on the road), this solution was the perfect one. All I can say is that I'm very grateful and that I definitely recommend this shop!

I own a legacy 2003 Volvo XC70 w/ approx. 117,000 miles wherein it is difficult to find such esoteric
older model quality auto repair of a foreign make. Have utilized Tolima for past three years, everything from regular service, e.g., tires, alignments, to modifications, e.g., LED headlights, to major and minor repairs such as front suspension. They are extremely competent, know the source of most problems and if they don't will consult with experts to determine, and particularly for my auto that was Sweden built in December, 2002. Honest with reasonable parts and labor pricing, as well as all work warrantied.
Yes, could utilize local Volvo dealers, but have received Volvo's repair quotes, both parts and labor, at near 350% higher.
I recommend bringing your auto, of any make and model, to Tolima for service, repair, and body shop repair if needed.
