Service made easy and comfortable
As an older woman I often have concerns about being taken advantage of by service providers. Once I have the name of an agent and feel they know who I am, I feel more comfortable bringing my needs to their attention. I have dealt with Phil Long Hyundai for over 12 years, and have been able to trust that my car will be serviced by experienced mechanics, and I will not be pressured to accept services I do not want or need. Very unacceptable customer service is very important to communicate with the customer on time cost at the work can’t be done it would’ve been nice to know that we haven’t gotten to your car as of yet I’m thinking that my car was done when I get there I still had to wait half an hour and it was 5 PM pick the car up at 5:30 which could have been done earlier

Work not completed for the second time.
Took my car in for a service on 9/8/18. For a oil change, tire rotation and for the second time replace both upper and lower radiator hoses.
Oil change and tire rotation was completed, but only the upper radiator hose was replaced. So again worked was not completed as requested. I have an appointment on 9/22/18 to have the lower radiator hose replaced. This will be the 3rd time having my vehicle in the shop for the same thing. My rating would be (1) star and that's being nice.

Hyundai & Phil Long
Hyundai has proven to us to be an extremely well built car. This is our second Santa Fe, and have been very pleased with both. First car was totaled in a rear-end collision. That car was so well designed and engineered for safety that even being hit at approx 50 mph which crushed the back of the car, the middle and front passenger compartments were completely intact and prevented us from serious injury. This convinced us without a doubt that our replacement car was another Santa Fe. Comfortable & quiet ride. Great fuel mileage.
Phil Long Service Dept has been accommodating and easy to work with on the first, and so far on second vehicle. Most recent encounter was an unplanned event where the washer fluid reservoir developed a full tank leak. My wife was leaving out of town that next morning, so without a scheduled appt, I took the car in. Was greeted by Service Writer Jay Hyde. He said the service schedule was completely booked, but if I cold leave it, he might be able to get it done later that day. I explained my urgent dilemma with wife's planned trip. Jay was very understanding and said he'd see what he could do. He took the time to find a tech that was willing to put his current task on-hold to at least look at the issue. Turned-out to have been a split in the hose on underside of reservoir from improper attachment at factory, which the Tech could repair simply & very quickly. Thanks to Jay for going above & beyond to help, and the Tech for making time, the wife's trip went on as planned. Very good service.
