We are truley sorry you feel this way. Your car needs front end parts, and we can not and will not align a car with bad parts. The shop that "fixed" your pull did one of two things. they either changed air pressure or rotated tires. this is not gonna solve your problem. You will continue to wear tires. Again I'm sorry you feel we are dishonest, we just do things the rihgt way.
With that I went back to the counter and talked with Andrew. He walked me through the quote and it all made sense - no mysterious charges for parts or labor, no hand waving. Also, he showed me how it's typically billed as an 8-hour job but said he thought that was excessive and would do it for 6. When I asked if they use real Toyota parts, he said that they do when it makes sense, but for example in this case he didn't think it made sense to buy the rack and pinion from the dealer. They have another supplier - which he thinks may very well be the OEM supplier to Toyota - that offers a lifetime warranty. I couldn't leave the truck with them to have all that work done at the time but think I plan to make an appointment to go back The $35 inspection fee they charged seemed totally reasonable - after all, who else has a car lift and a guy who knows what he's doing to look at it? I never understand it when people squawk at paying for assessment like that. Naybe it's because I do enough of my own mechanical work and understand that it's not easy or trivial to do an inspection like that. In any case, Andrew explained that that $35 would be applied toward my bill if I indeed come back to have the work done.
Great friendly service, and very fast. Wait time was only half hour. Thanks !
