My daughter and I were traveling through Lake Tahoe when our rental van overheated. We were on a tigh
t schedule and we're told it would be at least five days until anyone in Lake Tahoe could get the van in. Matt Jenkins at Christensen Auto was clearly incredibly busy. As well he had a full fleet of cars in the lot to hold for repair. In spite of this, he was very gracious, patient and helpful to us. Not only did he assess the repair or van needed, he called several different auto shops around the area to help us get into a place for repair as soon as we could. He wrote down an entire list of auto shops as well. And finally he took me through step-by-step how to get down the mountain safely, and even offered me some alternative vacation spots once we were back on the road.

Again successful repair. There was additional issues found while performing the diagnosed repair. Whi
ch doesn't bother me. I am happy they were found and brought to attention. I am aware we are driving used vehicles with mileage nearing 200k and do not mind having them repaired correctly. Other customers please be aware when repairing your used vehicles there will be issues from time to time during a unrelated repair.

The place really needs to be cleaned. There is cob webs and dust, the trash in the bathroom needs to
be emptied. It would be easier to come if there was a TV for my kids. I would say recommend this business because of Tom and the mechanic but on the other hand...please clean the place, it is gross
