Acura MDX 2013
Bought this car in 2014 with 12,000 miles on it; am second owner. We wanted a specific package and color combo, so looked far and wide, finally finding exact match about 600 miles away. I can honestly say that this is the 2nd best car I’ve owned.....and I’ve gone through about 25 cars in my driving life! The ride is smooth, road noise is relative, handling is superb, seating is so comfy (lots of hours and not worn out), sound system great, instrumentation is a match for driver needs, engine isn’t that of a race car but is certainly adequate for city and highway needs, and fuel economy is better than expected for a “large” SUV. This is our 2nd MDX (first was a 2006) which we also bought used (65,000 miles) and drove it to 150,000 miles before selling it. That one sold us on the brand. We mainly use the MDX for trips (road driving) so amass lots of miles with little of the stop-start wear and tear. We do ALL scheduled maintenance and abide strictly by oil and other fluid change recommendations. We would certainly advocate for the MDX and will most certainly have a 3rd MDX in coming years. I anticipate keeping the 2013 through 150,000 at the very least (barring anything unforeseen).
