This is our second X3, and it's the 3.5 version with the M package. We owned a first-gen model and replaced it with this one. this one is superior in every way to its predecessor - power, handling, fuel economy, comfort, controls, etc. This may look like a compact SUV, but it's really just a tall, AWD sports car boasting spirited driving characteristics, brisk acceleration and all-weather utility. We've driven this car locally and across country, at sea level, at 12,000 feet in the mountains, and in all types of weather. In all situations, it has distinguished itself as a reliable, fun, confidence-instilling vehicle, which is also attractive and enjoyable to own.
