Overall good Tech is very frustrating to figure out. Wish tires were better at taking potholes. I've blown 2 in 3months.

Too many steps to drive the car. Too ma unneeded saftey features

I don’t want a computer to drive my car! Cannot permanently override idle stop feature. Cannot set forward sensor on cruise control to zero.

Great...BUT I really don't like the alerts that always go off. One about a coffee break and one about eyes on the road. If I knew there was no way to turn them off I would not have bought the car.

Smooth, Powerful, Luxurious and a Good Value

If you are in the market for a mid-sized sedan and have considered Mercedes or BMW, I suggest you also test drive the Genesis G80. The car is put together beautifully, is very smooth on the road and with the 3.5 liter engine, quite powerful and fun to drive. In my estimation after comparing cars, the Genesis gives you the best value of other cars in its class such as the Mercedes E and the BMW 5 series.

Initial/Early experience

NOTE: I've owned this car for only about two months so this is only my initial and early experience. Hence cannot confirm reliability as yet. Fun to drive, very smooth suspension, nice controls, relatively simple menus and uncluttered display. Somewhat slow to respond transmission, especially in eco driving mode.

Great style with some buggy disappointments

I love the looks the car gets for its unique styling. It is easy to drive, but the tech is bugging me. First there is too much, "press settings, select ----, do this, do that". I am not a tech wizard, but consider myself OK. I can't remember all the instructions and am tired of all the videos I have watched as many do not have the instrumentation or appearance of what the video is describing. And then the bugs: radio (I listen to one oldies station period): I will be driving along and the station changes. WOW. I will park the car and the radio is sometimes off when I start it again. Lately the backup camera does not go off immediately when I switch from R to D - weird to see the reverse view as I drive forward. Locking door using button, often does not work immediately and I have to wait and try again. Nothing safety related, just buggy.
