Wonderful
I replaced a 2017 460 LS with the G90. On a lark I test drove the G90 and I was blown away. The heads up display was a great surprise since my otherwise well appointed 460 LS did not have one. It was somewhat smoother and quieter than the Lexus. The feature I was most interested in was the lane-keeping function so if I had to take my hands off the wheel for a few seconds, or got somewhat drowsy, the car would keep me from making a fatal error. The newer Lexus had these features available but got poor reviews for the terrible driver interface controls, had a smaller trunk and less interior room. And it cost more than the G90, which is quite a bargain. The controls in the G90 are intuitive and don't constantly nag you that text message or other phone feature may cost money, or that some rural roads may not accurately be on the map, as my Lexus did. The navigation also does a much better job choosing routes than the Lexus. And the voice recognition is also much better. The overhead camera display is also very useful for parking. Turning the car on remotely using the app is much faster than it was for the Lexus. The engine, which is the turbo six, is faster (with regular gas) than the V8 in the Lexus (which required premium) and apparently about the same as the Genesis V8. I was quite surprised by this. The Lexuses were very reliable and I can't comment yet on the G90, but Consumer Reports gives the G90 better reliability ratings than the new LS500s. So far I am very happy. The sound system sounds better than the Mark Levinson system in the Lexus.
