Very Pleased. Some minor constructive criticism but nothing major
This is a wonderful, exceptional car. Quiet. Unbelievably quiet. I am so pleased with it. Coming from a Lexus LS500 that had run flat tires that were noisy and made for a rough ride. The sound dampening is exceptional as is the quality of the stereo system. Everything works gloriously well. If I were to offer any constructive criticism it would be this: First, no spare. I travel on a lot of remote roads. I dread having a flat and having to figure out how to use the tire inflation system for the first time. Not a problem in the city, I just call Genesis. But there are so many times in my drive-time that I am in remote areas. Next, the automatic shades for the rear sides. The shade goes up and down first, then the window. If it were the other way around, with the window going down first, one could bring in fresh air but still have the shade in place. Next, If I am listening to Sirius XM and switch to Apple CarPlay, the music option on CarPlay takes over, thus I have to have the Sirius XM app installed on my phone if I am using both. Next. Although I am not at 5,000 miles yet I get notifications that my car needs to be serviced. I bring it in and they tell me "no, it doesn't need to be serviced". Next. Gas mileage is poorer than I had anticipated. I seldom get upwards of 25 or more miles per gallon.
