If you are in the market for a luxury vehicle, you owe it to yourself to test drive a Genesis. Having owned Lexus and Jaguar, I believe I have some basis for a comparison. I watched a video review of the GV80 done by Car and Driver. The reviewer stated the GV80 is the car Lexus should have built. That statement pretty much sums up the review of the vehicle. The fit and finish is top notch. The interior materials and very nice and the styling is beautifully done. The interior noise level is definitely superior to Lexus. Very quite. The ride is definitely on the luxury side of the spectrum. The vehicle handles nicely, but it is not a performance car. If you're looking for a performance type experience with a tight and very firm type ride, the Genesis is not for you. The acceleration on the GV80 with the twin turbo V6 is impressive. Genesis has thought of the little things that make a luxury vehicle, well, luxurious. The use of materials, technology integration, styling, ride quality, and active noise suppression put this vehicle firmly in the ranks of its competitors. As stated in the beginning of this review, you owe it to yourself to check it out. It'll surprise you.

What's not to love?

The fit and finish is perfection, much better than the Lincoln Aviator I traded in. The stereo system is fantastic, good enough to please just about anyone. It's just a beautiful car, I get compliments all the time. I do wish the fuel economy was a little better.

Overall I am very satisfied with my new car. The few things that I noted in my review that could be changed to make the experience even better. It took an awful long time to finally receive the car but I think we all know the covid caused a lot of issues with manufacture

The Prestige 2.5 model comes with all the bells and whistles. Prestige model Highly competitive when compared to other luxury SUVs. Reliability is great while pricing is low. Luxury and styling is extremely impressive. No problems with the vehicle since taking ownership.

Amazing Vehicle!! Great Luxury and sport

The vehicle is amazing it has everything that I wanted and a vehicle. Luxury sport the quilted seats the 20-in rim tires. Genesis has come out with a range of colors choices that are totally different from the common cars that we see today in the luxury brands we all know. The monochrome paint white is gorgeous it's a matte White on my vehicle and I absolutely love the car that's why I purchased it instead of leasing it has everything all the bells and whistle and it always gets mistaken for Bentley which is awesome..

We have only had our GV80 for 1 month . Overall we love it Style , size of the vehicle are one of the reasons we purchased the GV80 . Features are nice , Iy has everything we need and were looking for . So far rides very nice and no complaints on the SUV.

My GV80 Experience

and drive for an hour or two. I love this car. I have always liked to drive but my GV80 makes the drive wonderful. It has a wonderfully smooth and quiet ride. If I am bored I may just jump in the GV 80 and drive for an hour or two. I am still amazed at hoe quiet the car is upon acceleration and deadens road noise.

Love my GV80

Great vehicle that has excellent features, acceleration, styling, and warranty. Quiet comfortable ride with many customizable features. Great value compared to BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, Audi and Infinity, yet you get very comparable features. Lights are amazing and like the side panel turn signals for safety. The technology make the vehicle the most comfortable one we’ve owned.

My research of the Genesis Vehicles was initially done via the internet, progressed to communication with the dealer sales via their Client Advisor (Jake Weber). My initial inquiry was immediately responded too via email by Jake, I was looking for the GV80 with specific exterior/interior color schemes. Jake indicated that my choices were unavailable at this time but would keep me informed of future inventory. I decided to make dealer visits and doing more Test driving of those vehicles interested in. While out I test drove the Telluride very interested but the dealer makeup (14K) was unacceptable and made me feel unappreciated. Upon leaving that lot I got a phone call from Jake, he indicated that my choices on the GV80 came in and that if I still wanted it I should get there as quickly as possible as he didn't think the vehicle would be available very long. I was just a few blocks away and arrived at Norm Reeves Genesis within 5 minutes. Upon arriving and entering the dealership show room two Other couples followed me into the room wanting the same vehicle. Fortunately my timing was great as it turns out Jake saved the day for me. The dealer made me a very reasonable offer for my 2013 Navigator and the deal was set in motion. My Sinceres appreciations go out to Jake Weber, at Norm Reeves Genesis, his follow up with me was unexpected and exceptional and informing me on the availability was most impressive, as it turns out had I been a minute later I would most likely still be looking!

Love my Genesis GV80!

This suv is the most feature loaded model for the money and competes with suvs that cost $15K+ more. Genesis has outdone themselves on styling and safely feature of this suv. Also this suv looks great next to my other suv a 2022 GV70! Both these suvs replaced a Genesis 2018 G80 and a 2019 G70! Love Genesis!

Best car we have owned so far...

Excellent SUV for the money. The looks are second to none and the interior design and quality is amazing. Looking forward to taking it on a long drive and using all the driver assist features available. This SUV is crammed with features and options to make your drive enjoyable and pleasant.

Nice vehicle, no major issues except vibration I am sure the retailer will correct this on my next service visit. Retailer and Genesis needs to do an IQS (Initial Quality Survey ) before 90 days. Most OE manufacturers do this at 30 days. I would expect Genesis would like to know scores sooner than later

Vehicle is enjoyable to drive and has lots of power. I enjoy the heads up display very much also. I feel very safe driving my vehicle and has lots of power when I need it. Seats are very comfortable and well made. Over quality of vehicle is excellent and both interior and exterior very gorgeous. I am looking forward to keeping my vehicle for a very long time and I can rest assured that it will last a long time.

Genesis reminds me of Lexus when they first started out.

I purchased a Lexus when they first started selling them in California. They were a high end car that competed with Mercedes, Audi, and others. Today there price point is the same or more. Well a few years ago Hyundai came out with their Genesis line following what Toyota did with Lexus. I was quick to move on purchasing their first high end car called Equus. Later models changed their name to Genesis. I am on my 3rd Genesis that started with 2018 G90, then leased a G80, and now recently leased a GV80 Prestige and I couldn’t be happier. Two things stand out most of all the quality of the cars and their Concierge Service. I have had very few issues with any of my Genesis. When you need service, you call and they come and pick your car up and leave another, now waiting around at the dealership to get your car serviced.

Pleasantly surprised

In comparison to other vehicles in its class, we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the GV80, and an enjoyability factor. Not to mention it is better equipped than most of its competitors which makes have practical value, versus just thinking monetarily.

Great car, just need a little time to learn how to use all it's features. Very stylish and handles great with plenty of power and good braking. Cabin comfort is outstanding in both front and rear seating. Safety features are very impressive,and the value for the price is very gook.

Very satisfied with the Genesis GV80. Performance and style are excellent. Comfort level on long rides is one of the best we ever had. Plenty of storage room for bags or any other items you want to haul. Love the engine performance, has the power needed when you want it.

Overall, I am enjoying the car and still learning all that it has to offer. The car is fun to drive and very quiet. I wish city driving yielded better gas mileage though. I am satisfied overall with my purchase and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good luxury vehicle.
