Great vehicle with some minor niggles

Love the GV80. Performance from the 2.5 Turbo is far more than adequate for my driving needs. It's a torquey motor that's actually fun to drive. Steering could be a bit more responsive. Even in sport mode, it's too light for my liking. Interiors are truly luxury grade, they look and feel super premium. Love the huge Heads up display and the 3D instrument cluster looks epic. The prestige trim we have comes with Road active noise cancellation. While the vehicle is quiet at highway speeds, it is not noticeably quieter. Sound from 22 speaker lexicon system is good. But I expected the clarity to be better. CarPlay, Android auto work great. But I wish they were wireless. It makes the wireless charger useless. Couple of niggles - Driver side interior door trim squeaks where the leg touches the door. I could also push my thumb and hear the squeak. Annoying on bumpy roads. Driver seat is a mixed bag. Maybe, my back is still getting used to it, I sometimes feel like a sharp object is pushing my left shoulder. It gets comfortable after a few minutes though. Massaging feature works great and helpful on long drives. Overall a great SUV and mostly love it so far.

Great except for the changing color of the matte

I am really enjoying this vehicle. The I feel like I learn something new about it each week. Its very comfortable and drives like a dream. I really wish that the color was consistent as the matte green looks very bright and unappealing in the light. I purchased off of the show room floor and did not have the best depiction of the color.

2022 GV80

It’s a beautiful car and fun to drive. Great value for the money from luxury to technology perspective. The car has a few things that make it compete with exotic cars. The way the sunroof closes, the seating, and the overall finish. Other than first negative service expiring the car is highly recommended.

Great car if you don't care about the terrible gas mileage, not as advertised! I am having a problem with alarm going off on its own. Still working on getting it fixed. Other than that I would recommend it, drives beautifully, good price. Lots of dealerships, almost one in every city, that's convenient.

It’s a beautiful vehicle. It does perform excellently. Just the doors have to be closed hard for them to close. Some of the features are difficult to operate by a regular folk. Other than that Genesis is very good, the exterior look is astonishing. I do like it!

I have been wanting this vehicle from a long time but as everyone knows, due to covid and supply chain issues, inventory is on all time low. I am glad I got it, I am glad I am driving it, I am glad I made the right decision on getting Genesis GV80. I would highly recommend car buyers to test drive Genesis vehicles

Looks good but has some very unpractical designs

Drives nicely but has some design flaws. Fuel economy not what is promised. Light seats are way too light. Not enough extra storage space inside the car. But the design of the outside makes it worth the inside design flaws. Very eye catching car!

Gv80 prestige

Great vehicle, great looks. Technology is top of the line. My wife and I feel pretty safe in the GV80. Quality materials used in the interior. People always asking me about the vehicle and says it looks great.I will see how it holds up down the road. I only have 2,990 miles on my GV80 prestige.

I’m satisfied with the vehicle, but time will tell whether it is reliable and hold up well to daily usage. Safety was one of the primary reasons for choosing this vehicle so the elimination of HDA II was very disappointing. It should be an option to add once the chip shortage is resolved.

Problem with customer service

My problem with the car is customer service. At 2,000 miles my new car lost the wheel well cover. I took it to Hyundai of Greer 2 months ago. Six weeks later I called to check on the status of the part & had to leave a message. 2 weeks later, I still haven’t received a call back from the dealership with an answer.

Great Vehicle Period

Very happy with the look, driving dynamics, and tech in this vehicle. With a few more tweaks it is the closest thing to perfection I have driven in a while. The matte paint can be a challenging but is a unique head turning feature especially on a SUV.

Poor seats on premium model

The seats on the premium, more expensive model are very uncomfortable. I do real estate and live in my car and have been with Lexus for 26 yrs. I was not to impressed with ability to get in and get service in a timely manner . The loaner car seats are more comfortable but not offer on premium vehicle . I am getting my first service so I may have more comments when I get it back. It was delayed because I needed a curbed rim fixed but I would have thought since I had to schedule service 3 weeks out they should have arranged for that. It did take 9 months to get this car from time I ordered.

Seats in premium model are not comfortable

I love most everything about this SUV but having driven Lexus for 26 years, the seats in the Premium model are very uncomfortable. The cheaper model seats are better seems odd, looks aren't everything when it comes to seats. Overall a very beautiful great running vehicle.

2022 Genesis GV80 Signature Series

All in all this is a very nice vehicle, there are some cons but at this point of ownership the pros out weigh the cons. We love the way it looks and the matte paint is amazing. The comfort of the interior is great also, we just wish it had messaging passenger seat, more bass from subwoofer and a rear entertainment system. Also, this thing needs some more get up and go... Horsepower. But in all fairness it is a great vehicle for our family. We hop it hold its value!

Great Vehicle

I would have given the GV80 a 5* rating if it had not already had the differential replaced. I love the car, but the lack of dealerships is a problem, and the lack of a reputable dealership near me is nonexistant. I do love the car, but wish I could have it serviced at my local Hyundai dealer instead of an hour away where scheduling is very difficult.

The car is good, good styling, good features, good interior decor. There are not enough dealerships / service center around. Have to wait for a long time for appointment. My car is now in service for almost one month waiting for the parts from Korea. Dealer does not wash the car after service.

Great vehicle, when we have it...

We love the vehicle. The problem is we don' have it. It's broken in the shop for over a month. We are still paying for it. The injectors it needs are on back order. Why? It's really unacceptable. The dealer gave us a loaner. That is at least good. Please get our parts...

Repair department lack of knowledge of vehicle

Every single time I’ve brought my car in for service I’ve had nothing but issues after I get it back. Things that weren’t an issue when I brought it in. Makes me terrified to bring it in for its maintenance. The last time I got it back I got stranded in a grocery store parking lot. I could not start the car. And they broke my cabin filter bracket to where it was stuck behind my glove box & the glove box would not shut wearing out the battery. They should have never given it back to me in that condition. To top it off they stuck the trash of the filter in my glovebox instead of throwing it away. And left the valve stem cap off on one of the tires.
