Review of 2013 Sierra 1500

Maintenance and repairs of this vehicle have been minimal and inexpensive over ten years. However at ten years of age, the degree of rust on the rear frame parts required a major and expensive repair. The truck was never exposed to marine water, only road salt which was regularly rinsed during the winter season. This is a common problem for this type and era of pickup. I am disappointed that GM has no support for this fault as some other manufacturers have provided.

Excellent truck

I been driving GMC the most of my adult life I have 173000 miles on this truck and it doesn’t use any oil and has all the power I could ask for. I am not crazy about AFM they put on them but I am very pleased with my truck and I trust it will get me where I need to go. By the way it has the 5.3 engine. When I bought it, it only 23000 miles on it.

Solid Truck

This has been my first and only personal truck. I have been able to maintain a great deal of it myself and it has withstood my ignorance. This truck was built strong and continues to perform well. The most difficult idea of owning a truck is all of the options for making it really unique, which this truck has allowed me to take on wholeheartedly.

2013 GMC Sierra

I have my 2013 GMC Sierra 1500 SLE since May of 2013. My truck has nearly 78,000 miles and still runs so well. I’ll never sell or trade my truck for another truck. I also get pretty good gas mileages..14 - 16 in city. 16 - 22 on freeway. I don’t drive madly or race aggressively. This way, the truck has a good lifespan.

Runs beautifully everyday, quiet, powerful, no problems towing with it. Lots of comments on appearance. Upholstery is tough and easy to clean. 74,000 miles, comfortable and still feels new. I will buy another GMC.

2013 Sierra

Was very disappointed that I had a major repair after 65000 that cost me thousands. I was told that it was a repair that was common on GMC PUs. There should be a recall on these engines because of the issue I had.

Love this truck.

I have own several jeep models in the past until I purchased this new Sierra. This truck does it all...from interior comfort for guys over 6 foot 5 inches to ride , 5 person capicity, to heated front seats and steering wheel. It has the ability to carry a load or tow. The tondo cover fits easily to keep your cargo dry and secure. It still looks great 4 years later and runs like a champ! Has been very few repairs and just regular maintenance . I would certainly buy another in the future.

Gmc

I'm not impressed with this truck I've had better I won't but another one of this style the engine light comes on to easy and it's not comfortable when driving on trips and it's been hard for me to park cause it seems like it has blind spots I never had but since I'm stuck with it I'll make the best of it

To big

The truck is ok it just bigger than what I need I don't feel like it meets my traveling needs but it does get great has mileage but engine light comes on to easy and for someone on a fixed income it's expensive to maintain
