Cute lil Kona

Great build. Cute car. We bought the base model, so the perks aren't great. Below average spaciousness in a sedan. Got this model for the AWD, since their other sedans were only 2WD. We came from an Audi A4, so our expectations were pretty high. Engine feels a lot different/weaker, but the gas mileage is better. Overall, we are pleased with our Kona, but not blown away. It's a good, reliable car.

sporty, versatile, safe vehicle. I highly recommend the Kona. I appreciate the details on the vehicle. My wife also owns a Hyundai Tucson and likes her vehicle for many of the same reasons. I would recommend a Hyundai to most anyone.

Kona

Fun zippy car but it stuffers like it wants to stall. Has room for weekend getaway but not enough to use for midsized project trips. Fold down seats are helpful and it’s a beautiful car to drive. I like the vehicle assist package.

Very nice, Stylish car!

I have owned and leased other Hyundais in the past. Great quality, warrantee, drive-ability, service and sales people are always courteous and helpful. Hyundai has had some recalls in the last few years, but they were handled correctly. Overall, very satisfied with my experience with them.

Happy so far

Like so far especially the gas mileage. Waiting to see the winter driving will like. I like the overall performance and the style of the car. Have get use to the color white. Truck space is a Little small.

Hyundai kona

Car has been very reliable. I have no issues yet after driving this car for 1 year now. Has a nice ride and gets about 30 miles to the gallon. We do feel safe in the car. I do miss Sirius radio not included in my model.

Perfect fit for me.

I was looking to downsize from a Chevy Trailblazer and had been looking at purchasing a Hyundai. They have great reviews for being dependable and safety features. The KONA was exactly what I was looking for me. It's an Awesome compact SUV; but very spacious.

Practical Fun

The Kona Ultimate AWD is perhaps the best car I've ever owned. Its maneuverability together with its capable engine makes dealing with traffic so much easier. The head unit puts the infotainment system within easy reach and easy to view with a quick glance. I find the onboard navigation to be preferable to GoogleMaps, and I find the availability of Android Auto (or Apple Carplay) on the 8" display much preferable to sticking my phone on the dash. Instruments and controls are non-cluttered, easy to read and use. For me, its heads-up display is indispensable in giving me a load of information at a glance. For someone like me who makes a lot of use of the cruise control, the smart cruise control is a definite plus over earlier models. One trade-off for its quick handling is the road noise is pretty noticeable. Space for passengers in the back seats can be a little tight when larger people are in the front, but then subcompacts are generally not known for spaciousness. The ride is better than my previous subcompacts, but it can still be a bit bumpy. The dual clutch transmission can struggle in stop & go traffic, particularly on the hills.

Overall OK, good gas milage, but is noisy and needs a better suspension

It's a good car, easy to drive and handles well on Hwy's, just needs a better suspension, I feel every bump in the road, and hear lots of wind gushing noises at high speed..........taking it in for a service this week, maybe they can do something about it.

Great vehicle for the price!

I like most everything about this vehicle. Considering the price I paid, I feel that I got a good value. Having owned it for a year now, I am disappointed with the engine noise when I accelerate. It sounds clacky and I'm not sure why; I asked the dealership, and they didn't explain the cause nor did they remedy it. The only other thing that I do not like is that the interior seems to be changing color already because of the sun I guess? Also, it scratches VERY easily and it's all plastic. Mostly I am pleased with this purchase, and it is my first every new vehicle.

Wish there was better theft protection

We like the Hyundai Kona but I wish Hyundai was more concerned about how easy these vehicles are to steal. Our passenger window was smashed. The only reason our vehicle wasn’t stolen was because we had the Club steering wheel lock in place.

great function and reliability

The car is stylish and reliable with excellent gas millage, the features are excellent and easy to use, the warranty can not be beat, lack of a factory installed remote starter option is disappointing, seats are uncomfortable after about 20 minutes and there is not enough storage in the rear hatch.

Trunk are very small, my golf bag doesn't fit. Need to adjust the back seat for my golf bag.

I like the gas mileage of my 2021 Kona, seat heater is OK. From stop to acceleration there was a little bit of hesitation when stepping on the gas. The side of the trunk cracked and my bumper to bumper warranty doesn't cover, don't know why. So far I had it now for a few months and this is the only review I can give this time.

Nice,, reliable, comfortable vehicle which gives me more room.and a sense of safety. Only drawback is stiff steering. Looking forward to seeing how it performs on snow and mountains. I like road trips and the car is comfortable for driving long distances..however,.limited trunk room in back requires putting back seats down for more storage.

This is my first Hyundai and I am happy with it. The car is cute and gets good gas mileage. The car is reliable and has a good warranty. I wish It had GPS and the ability to start the car from the house.
