I love this car

I haven't loved a car that I've owned since the 1980s, but this one has gotten to me! It's so easy to drive, so much of the tech makes every day driving easier, safer. It's comfortable, it looks great inside and out. No regrets.

Great, but needs a touch more power

There are an abundance of things I like about this Kona, but I wish it had just a little bit more power. It feels like it is barely moving sometimes when pushing the gas, almost like the little engine that could going up the mountain. Once it gets to a certain speed, all is well. It’s just getting there that I wish was a little stronger. I also wish it had a front parking sensor.

Meets or exceeds expectations

We chose the Kona for several reasons. Quality, affordability and reliability. We previously owned an Elantra and were very pleased with it. The Kona measures up on all measures as well.

Great SUV

This is my first SUV and I’m extremely happy with it. It’s got a lot of room compared to my prior car which was a sedan. And it’s comfortable. On top of that I’ve only sacrificed a little bit of fuel economy vs. the sedan.

My thoughts

The 2 issues I have is the air conditioning sucks too long to cool vehicle also the screen goes black randomly at times have to turn off and start car again this usually will fix it

My first SUV. I did a year of research which came down to the Kia Seltos vs Hyundai Kona. The Kona won and I love it. It's the perfect size for me and has enough tech to make me happy.

Pride and Joy

My husband suggested we both purchase Hyundai vehicles, and thought the Kona Limited might suit my needs. It seemed okay, so I selected the "Mirage Green" color, and had to wait a while for it to come into stock. I'm so glad I did! My car's name is Miriam Ann, and I take pride and pleasure every time I see her shining, misty-green curves. She's smarter than I am, and will alert me when it's unsafe to change lanes, and even slammed her brakes on once when she thought I was about to reverse into something. This car drives so smoothly, easily and intelligently that I've often felt as though I could take my hands off the steering wheel and she would competently find her way home. Her front seats heat up, which is very comforting on stressful days. The light-gray interior looks clean and modern. The parking cameras make it fun and easy to park perfectly! And her music system sounds great. There's nothing I don't love about her!
