Hyundai Quality

I have owned multiple Hyundais over many years, both for the quality and the incredible warranty. I have truly, never been disappointed. The new Kona is absolutely one of my favorite purchases. My new 2026 Kona Sport

I love the vehicle size and all the safety features. It’s a nice ride with the exception of the suspension system - you feel every pot hole in Chicago. Gas mileage is OK - not great. Small 4 cylinder engine - got a bit of umph.

Kona (gas) AWD

The car is easy to drive. I picked it for how similar it was in size to my much older Tucson (2011). I love the light grey interior. However, it does make me nervous to get it dirty. The long screen blending into the dash is a great style choice. All the features are set for the driver to reach/access easily. The lane assist, front seat warmers, and charging pad are great additions. I also like the magnetic pad to the left of the driver for storing my phone with magnetic back. It has a shelf for passenger storage.

Great car, super spry, but missing some features that are standard on

I really enjoy my 2026 Hyundai Kona. It is quite quick, handles superbly, but is missing some simple, low-cost features that are usually standard at this price range such as a cargo shelf, and more importantly a backup range beeper. The exterior appearance can only be described as strange (but it grows on you), while the interior is superb in every respect. Overall, a great little SUV that drives well and will carry just about anything, in a spirited manner.
