road noise and vibrations inside the vehicle

Road noise and vibrations inside the vehicle from the payment. Also dark triangle hangs down in the middle of the head lights on low beam that moves as you turn the car. Very disturbing when driving at night as your eyes seem to follow this triangle.

Noisy

The fit of the doors results in loud wind noise at highway speeds. The heads up display unit in the dash emits an obnoxious vibration sound. The noise is intermittent which adds to the frustration as the dealers have “not been able to recreate”.

To make a better car for the future

Overall the car is good with a lot of problems. Minute but to me they are big because the way it’s been designed and engineered and put together in my sincere opinion not good enough. To redesign the score I need to ask the people who driving it for living and I will let you know what’s missing in it.

HYUNDAI PALISADES

OVERALL THE EXTERIOR LOOK OF THE CAR IS NOT AS SPORTY AS THE KIA TELLURIDE. THE INSIDE DID LOOK MUCH MORE DURABLE AND HIGH QUAILITY THAN THE KIA THOUGH. WENT TO MANY DIFFERENT DEALERS OF THE SAME CLASS OF CAR AND THIS ONE HAD THE BEST COMBINATION OF FEATURES, SIZE AND PRICE. AFTER ONE YEAR WITH THE CAR THERE WERE A NUMBER OF THINGS OVERLOOKED IN THE DESIGN AND IN THE PARTS. I HAVE BEEN TO THE SHOP 4 TIMES IN LESS THAN 365 DAYS, NOT INCLUDING 2 OIL CHANGES, AND THE DEALERSHIP IS USUALLY BOOKED 3 WEEKS OUT FOR AN APPOINTMENT.

Not as happy as I hoped but it’s a okay car. For the price point we spent I expected more. Not sure I would buy this car again In the future. In fact I’m thinking about selling and going back to previous make.

Be Better

I expected better quality with build. The car is nice to drive and the interior is also nice. I’m not sure how the hood latch could dent the car. The hood was never slammed unresponsibly. The trim that came unglued and was hanging off the side of the car is unacceptable.

value for money

good car for the money, best in segment. wish the higher trims has a wireless CarPlay system as the lower trim comes equipped with that. safety features are quite efficient, little laggy with the performance.

It's okay

2021 Palisade SEL with comfort and premium packages is an ok purchase. Pros: Roomy and comfortable. Cons: Wish it was a hybrid. 2nd row speakers are a bust. One interior material is a pet hair magnet.

Enjoy this car overall. Good on gas. Nice interior and exterior. Wheels could be better. Lots of sound on the inside while driving. For the price it should have more luxury features in my opinion but overall quality is good.

Dealership stinks

Dealership stinks. Takes forever to get simple oil change even with scheduled appointment. Unable to get a hold of staff to check status. Can't drop vehicle off for over 6 hours and they haven't even gotten to it. Scheduled drop 8:30am. Beyond ridiculous. Forced to go elsewhere for service. Completely bogus. Went for 2 years and suffered. Won't be going back after last round, plus they didn't even begin service. No outlook given.

Underwhelmed

Poor quality for price. Tires are terrible. Interior display hard to navigate. Car is roomy and comfortable. Exterior styling is nice but front grill is ugly. I expected more for my money. Driving vehicle is fine.

Vehicle overall is average. The bells and whistles are welcomed but dig deeper. High wind noise, rattling here and there, recalls and smoke from the exhaust due to carbon buildup. The part that makes me regret my purchase is the service department.

Great usability not so great quality

I've had many quality problems with this car in the under 2 years that I've had it. Master cylinder had to be replaced, Thermostat had to be replaced. Minimum of 2 weeks to get service in the Chicagoland area.

Had a major brake issue

Okay vehicle with a lot of interior room space. Looks like everyone other SUV out there. Had one recall, two flats, and one major brake issue that left me.stranded. had to be towed to a dealership and it took over a week to be repaired.

Read the Cons

Please just read the Pros & Cons. Hopefully your understand why I can’t recommend this vehicle to others. I think my frustration is spending this amount on a new car and I have to carry grandchildren around in a new car with mouse traps. In doing my research this has been a problem in the past. I feel this should be disclosed to the Consumer as a possibility of this happening.

Replaced a MDX not the same quality

Nice design and roomy. However the handling and squeaks and squeals, from the engine starting, make the car feel cheap. Fuel Economy is okay. I have liked the additional features like side cameras in the turn signals and vented seats in the 2nd row.

Paint

Stay away from pearl white paint on Palisades. Number one on problems with peeling off paint, and even though vehicle warranty covers "everything" until 60000, paint is covered only until 30,000 miles.

Too many issues at low miles

Big issues at low miles. Sunroof broke and had to be replaced under 20000 miles. Auto braking collision system brakes randomly for no reason. Rattling while driving from somewhere. Hyandai will not fix the towing recall and its been over 2 years unacceptable! I wanted to like this vehicle but I have had many issues and not fixing a recall put me over the edge
