2021 Palisade

Overall the Palisade is a great vehicle, it handles the road very well. There is a lot of leg room for passengers to be comfortable without being cramped. The cool/heat features on the seats are wonderful as well as the heated steering wheel. The older you get the more you will appreciate those things.

Incredible Ride With Minor Annoyances

We love our Palisade. It's different from other cars to me, because it has heated AND ventilated seats. The Palisade is very safe because it gives you alerts on if it's going to crash into a car, or if you're too close to the edge of the side of the road. The Palisade is very comfortable. It has a lot of space in the front and back, so you can stretch out your legs. The Palisade is really fun to travel in! My only complaints are that the navigation system is a little bit outdated, and maybe a bit more cup holders. Once, when we used it to go somewhere, it took us to a completely different location a few block away. Overall, the Palisade is an exceptional car. I recommend it.

2021 Hyundai Palisade

Toyota 4-Runner or Hyundai Palisade. I was in the market to buy another Toyota 4-Runner after selling my 2016 back to Toyota before retiring from the Army in 2019. As the years went on, I did not like the new body styles of the new 4-Runners and took notice of the Hyundai Palisade and thought "Wow! Hyundai has come a long way with its line of SUV." Started doing some market research and decided to go and take a look at one. Johnson Hyundai of Cary, North Carolina did not have what I wanted on the lot, but it only took my Salesperson, Mr. Mark Priest less than two days to find my vehicle in another state. The entire transaction from day 1 to the day (December 11, 2020) I drove off of their lot with it was flawless. No issues or hiccups. I love my Palisade and am glad I decided on a 2021 Hyundai Palisade as a Christmas gift to myself. I never thought I would go back to a Hyundai after my first two in 1986 and 1990, but I did and so far I have no regrets. Thank you Mark Priest (Sales), James Edmondson (Finance) and Johnson Hyundai of Cary, North Carolina.

Good Vehicle Poor Gas Milage

Good Vehicle Nice Styling and features but terrible gas milage. Handles well and decent acceleration. Seats are comfortable and Controls are easy to use and understand A lot of room and 3rd row seats are decent.

Love my palisade

The Palisade Unlimited is so super classy inside and out! We have received several comments about its looks also both inside and out. It drives super smooth and we love all of the safety features and even still learning what some of the ‘alerts’ mean lol!

Car fanatic

Absolutely Love the Palisade!!! Good power, smooth transmission, comfortable ride. I’m 6’3” 240 pounds and the seat adjustments fit me well. A few things I would change. 1. Needs more interior lights when you open the door at night. Hard to see the floor if you drop something. 2. The garage door button on the rear view mirror does not have a light. Hard to find in the dark. This button should be located on the overhead console and lighted at night. 3. To the right side of the radio round knob volume control you have 9 buttons. Easy to see at night, they are lighted but during the day very hard for driver to read.

Its very luxurious car

It is a very luxurious car without paying those exaggerated amounts or fees. But the only bad thing is the smell it gets to the point the we have to drive with the windows open its because its unbreathable.

Apprehensive

Everything has worked on my new Palisade except the radio. It works half the time and our Hyundai dealership in Alexandria, La has done a terrible job communicating with us or attending to the problem. Because of this initial issue I am so very afraid something else is going to go wrong and that maybe I picked a dud. Surely hope we can get resolution to this problem. The past 4 vehicles my husband and I bought were Toyotas. I stepped out of my comfort zone to buy this vehicle and now afraid I made a mistake.

Overall great, but interior lighting is a joke

This is a great vehicle but for the love of Pete INCREASE THE INTERIOR LIGHTING OPTIONS! Seriously - I probably would not have bought the car had I known. Test drive it at night! I have to use my cellphone flashlight to see things, and it shouldn't be that way.

I love the look, handling and comfort of my Calligraphy.

My two complaints about my Palisade are the smell of garlic inside and wind noise from driver side door. Other than that I’m very pleased with it. The smell seems more prevalent when the weather is warm. The wind noise happens at low and high speeds.

Great vehicle

Apart of a couple of misstep for a premier line model like no powered button for the fuel door, the middle seat and the absence of a no touch liftgate, this vehicle is so far one of the best vehicle out there there for drivers looking for luxury for less

My only complaint is fuel economy

I love everything about this car. Roomy, comfortable seats, fully optioned for a fraction of the luxury brands' price, top notch finishes, great lights, powerful engine, the technology works properly.

Great vehicle that could be better!

The 2021 Palisade is definitely a great SUV that could be improved. The placement of the parking brake...who did that? Huge side-view mirrors that don't fold? Really? Another bright idea!! And OMG, that horrible gas milage! But, at least it uses 87 gas instead of my Audi's 91.

No built in WiFi

I would have rated our new car 5 stars but the model is missing the obvious...built in WiFi. Otherwise a splendid car. Beautiful outside, beautiful inside. Except for the WiFi thing it is everything you’d expect from Hyundai. The WiFi thing is a big blunder on their part.

Good value

Overall amazing car and value. The only flaw we have found is when exiting a moving car wash, it is difficult to return to drive from neutral when exiting. The car requires selecting the brake. The car behind may be as close as 12 inches. Any hesitation makes for a tense moment. At some point the will be damage done to a vehicle. Check the chat rooms. They contain discussions of this topic.

I love it but...

I purchased the Palisade after my Chevy blazer was totaled. In some ways the Palisade is better, but I am missing a few of the comforts from the blazer. I have to use a usb cord to play music from my phone and the Palisade doesn’t come equipped to purchase a wifi hotspot. I wish the Palisade would come with a front camera view. We love the 3rd row, the heated captains chairs and the heated steering wheel. If the Palisade offered wifi, it would be the perfect vehicle for my family.

I recommend the Hyundai Palisade

The Palisade is definitely an upgrade from the Santa Fe, which I previously drove. I love all of the safety features of the Palisade, and they did an amazing job utilizing all of the space on the interior. I love how spacious the trunk is, especially when you put one seat down in the trunk. I always get comments on how nice the exterior body of the car is as well. It drives smooth and is fairly quiet. My one complaint would be not having a shifter, there are buttons instead and sometimes the buttons seem to take an extra second to register that you put it in D, R, P. I also wish I had the leather interior and the automatic trunk but we settled on the SEL model.
