Check engine light on at only 1300 miles

First Hyundai i have owned. I have 1,300 miles on it and already have check engine light on.

Looks awesome but recalls make this no fun

We bought our Palisade brand new in September 2025 and have had multiple recalls. When the dealership fixes them, other electrical errors occur and it’s a huge headache. Our third row seats would not even fold down or move at one point. Our left side second row seats do not function as they should, we and the dealership just have to play with the buttons until it eventually works. Since the last update, the second row control center for the temperature now doesn’t kick on unless you keep messing with it. For a brand new vehicle, all of these things stack up and get exhausting.

Hyundai Quality and Styling Second to None

I never thought I would buy a Hyundai until my research commanded a closer look as a result of surpassed others in the physical factors of importance to me. Those factors include spaciousness as defined by headroom, legroom, and wide driver and front passenger seats. In addition, driver visibility was an important factor.

Unbeatable value with poor performance

The value is hard to beat despite weak performance; the tech comfort is present, but the car clearly lacks horsepower in the V6, four-wheel-drive version. When you press the accelerator, the engine seems to struggle, so this vehicle would benefit from a turbocharger.

Excellent ride. Very quiet and comfortable. Learning the locations of all the controls can be a challenge sometimes. There are a few things that I would program differently on the touch screen.

2026 Palisade XRT

As a 30 Year associate of a luxury car maker I was very impressed with the fit and finish of the vehicle, Road noise was very good however with the more aggressive tires on the XRT the tires did create a little more road noise and road feel. The Palisade had very comparable technical content to cars much more expensive. I expected the gas milage to be a little better but on the Highway I am getting 22 MPG on average running in ECO mode at 75 mph. Interior trim materials looks really good but most surfaces pick up fingerprints and smudges. No damage to the material but any contact will show until wiped off.

Amazing Car, A MUST HAVE

The Palisade gives a lot of bang for the buck. So many premium features in a car for 20k less than competitors, Don't be afraid of the 3.5L V6, it is not slow like other reviews (even professional ones that list 0-60 in 8.8 secs) I can get 0-60 sub 6 seconds! You just gotta know how to drive. The smart engine feature is great and makes the car more responsive to your inputs. 3rd row easily fits my 6'2" 290lb husband, and great for those with large families. So much car and so much luxury without breaking the bank! The car will take care of you if you take care of it! Cut the recommended 8'000 mile oil change intervals in half, using a quality filter and oil and it should last you a very long time.

The vehicle will not allow the doors to be locked manually if the key fob is in proximity to the interior oscillator in the vehicle. The condition described appears to be normal vehicle operation and not a malfunction.

This behavior is generally understood to be a lockout-prevention safety/convenience feature designed to reduce the likelihood of accidentally locking the smart key inside the vehicle. ^cc

Dashboard controls for navigation is slow and this six cylinder engine is slower off the line then the original six in my 2021 palisade. Hesitates when you need it. And less gas mileage then my 2021
