Great vehicle with a few misses
I love the vehicle. It has some great tech, but it misses the mark on some features.
1. Parking sensors- In my last few vehicles, the parking camera and 3D view would come on as soon as it sensed that I was parking. This car's cameras only turn on when it senses I'm very close to something. In other words, it waits until I'm getting ready to hit something. I can't tell if I'm within the parking lines. If I want to see the camera, I have to reach across the dash to hit the camera button. Probably the worst place to put a button that I need to hit while parking a car.
2. Every car I've owned for the past decade has walk-away door locks, except this one. It unlocks when I get close, but it won't lock when I walk away?
3. Easy entry. As a tall person 6' 3" I have the seat back pretty far. When I open the door, the seat doesn't move, and the steering wheel won't move because it is manual. Very hard to get in and out for such a large vehicle.
4. That manual steering wheel adjustment. Really? Pallisade Calligraphy has manual steering wheel adjustments. Makes getting in and out very hard for tall people because the seat doesn't move.
5. Phone charger. My phone gets so hot while charging that my phone actually shuts off in order to cool itself.
6. The slowest car I've ever owned. I cannot believe how slow this car is. You punch it, and it does nothing.
Other than those items, the car is very comfortable on long rides.
