Amazing Vehicle

The Palisades calligraphy rides beautifully, between the luxury inside and the technology, it is wonderful. There are so many safety features along with conveniences. we are more than pleased with the vehicle.

Happy, but not real Happy

Owned a 2023 Palisade previously. Liked that one much better. I do not care for the new location of the shifting mechanism. My wife absolutely hates it. There is an old saying "if mama ain't happy, ain't nobody happy". Also the new location for the switch to ensure the engine doesn't stop while at a stop sign is stupid. The previous Palisade had it in the center console. The shut off feature saves nothing. With the idle rpms at 700, the car will lurch forward when the engine revives and may cause an accident. Also had an incident where the car totally locked up when starting during a software download. All the lights on the dash lit up. I was able to move the car away from the other cars at the gas pump by activating the parking brake handle. Engine light stayed on overnight. Went off the next morning. That's more things that have gone wrong in 2500 miles than the 2023 had in 3 years. Put your engineers to work on something else. Don't ruin the Palisade like you did the Sana Fe.

not working

The vehicle is a pretty good vehicle.. I am extremely unhappy with the fact that the vehicle will not allow my apple phone to connect to apple car play hands free..yet it allows other people with apple phones to..and I can connect to another hyundai that I dont even own..its very disappointing and dangerous since the hands free features dont work so well

Great Vehicle

The Palisade I purchased is a great combination of luxury and function. The look and feel of the vehicle influence the choice to purchase it. There is one minor item which detracts from the total satisfaction of my Palisade, that being a software updated that nearly disabled it. That issue seems to have been resolved so that I can continue to enjoy driving it again.

The driver seat is like sitting on a wood bench! Seat is horrible!

The Palisade looks great but the driver seat is very uncomfortable. After a 4 hour drive my bottom and back are sore for a few days. Very disappointing for a $60,000 vehicle.

Smooth

This is the first Hyundai I've purchased and so far it's a great ride. It drives smoothly and the bells and whistles are subtle, not too loud. Fuel efficient on the interstate and expressways. I love the 360 lane assist when changing lanes, parking, and driving.

Great vehicle; replacement for my Expedition after 30 years of driving

While I lost cargo capacity moving from Expeditions, every other aspect was more than satisfactory to compensate, including the $35000 less price tag; the car height and easy in and out was an important factor for an elderly family member; the large variety in trim packages let me shop for my uses without overspending on things I would never use; the included warranty far outstripped the Ford warranty and even the purchase of the extended warranty was far cheaper and far longer than Ford’s offering and included routine service that had become overpriced and riddled with add on charges at Ford dealership; ride is excellent; only complaints; six cylinder is underpowered in acceleration in the 35-50 mph range without really stepping on it; the door unlocking sensor requires a full grip and hold, not just touch, before it works, and I have an unresolved Bluelink software glitch for remote entry and start that has not been followed up on by dealer or manufacturer after a service visit; overall, really solid value for the price point and features after 30 years of Expeditions previously

Wish I had known

When I purchased this vehicle I needed to upgrade from 2 to 3 rows due to having tall teens and a large puppy. One thing that sold me on this was the leg room and head room in the second row. However, after purchasing it I have come to dislike the lack of comfort, the terrible gas mileage and the shaking it does on the freeway. For being brand new it should be a smooth ride. Had I known that it was going to have worse gas mileage then a large suv I would have went that route. They have a 3 day return policy however the next morning I was admitted and had emergency surgery so by the time I got out a week later that time ran out.

Veichle options reputations is no question. Always a mercedez client for twenty five years took a keep of faith n no regrets . Salesperson frank awesome with sunny n Phil doing a great job. Only complaint is that seat raffles during hill or rough road will take on for evaluation .
