Very nice ride.

This vehicle rides very nice and is comfortable. I'm disappointed with a couple of missing features that my Santa Fe had. There's no tire pressure monitor and no sound for parking assistance. I fully expected these features.

I feel like this was designed by a driver

I bought this Santa Cruz to replace a Miata that just didn't feel safe to drive in the city anymore. I wanted something similarly economical but with the added convenience of a small bed for bringing home things I use for my yard or pool. I did NOT expect to absolutely love the way that this car is built to be so comfortable and easy to drive. There are a LOT of features that I was surprised to find in a car in this price point and with this long of a warranty. The controls are all super easy to reach, almost intuitively. There was virtually no learning curve. Little things, like the blind spot sensor on the dash in addition to the light on the side mirrors. The screen display that tells you what wiper setting you are on, or what fan level. If I even had a complaint, it is that the weather tech mats lock down to the floors HARD, so I don't have the hand strength to take them out, but by the same token they absolutely do not slip around. This vehicle is just perfect for me; big enough to haul my people and my stuff around and yet small enough that no one asks me to help them move!

Review of 2026 Hyundai Santa Cruz

In this modern age, I'm shocked that Hyundai cannot produce a car with better mpg than low 20's. I paid more for this Santa Cruz than I did for my Ford Maverick (hybrid). My Maverick gets 40 mpg on a bad day!

2026 Santa Cruz XRT

Absolutely in love with this vehicle, we upgraded from a 24 Santa Cruz SEL and like bump the turbo power. I don’t like the characteristics of a DCT so the 26 is an absolute unicorn! Vehicle is very smooth and agile which is want I want, no heavy truck feel, while retaining good towing capability. Only thing I wish it had for the xrt is a rear fold down arm rest. Only the limited got that. *Dumb*

Easy cab access

This is my second Cruz, we left a mid size vehicle because of being high to get into the cab. With this unit you don’t need runner boards or step stools to get into the cab..

2026 Santa Cruz

I love the body design and overall functionality of the truck. Power is decent for a 4 cylinder and the variable timing for fuel economy works well. Not a fan of the change from 2022 to 2026 steering wheel functionality it’s opposite in every way. But overall it’s a great light truck. They lowered the suspension and widened the wheel base this improved the turning radius. I figured you were worried about roll over so that might have been the compromise in the design. I think there is room for improvement in the turning radius.

Great vehicle for many aspects, for travel, transport, or leisure.

Very pleased with all amenities on vehicle use. like the sound system very well. Like power windows, locks, and seats. covered bed, sun roof, underseat storage, console, sterring wheel adjusts, and electronic dash adjusts. Note wind noise around front doors.
