Love the car not the power

We love this car. It is great in the snow and efficient. However, wish it had more power. It has the feature BLUE LINK which is a great thing to have. we use it for starting the car to warm it up from our smart phone.

2018 Santa Fe Sport

I really like this vehicle but there are a few things it doesn’t have that it should for the price i paid. Some are automatic seat adjustment for different drivers, folding mirrors, cooled seats, no way to see tire pressure, etc. I drove 2 other brands that had all these features plus for real close to the same price. I really didn’t realize the vehicle I bought didn’t have some of these features til after the purchase. I will be more careful next time. I do love the way it drives and it has plenty of pick up and speed.

A little displeased with the four cyl. engine.

I am very pleased with most all of this car. It has a lot of safety features that I like, it is comfortable, looks great and we enjoy driving it. The only thing I am disappointed in is the turbocharged four cylinder engine, it sometimes has a hesitation when starting to accelerate. I am also unhappy with 23 mpg on the road, my 8 cylinder pick up truck can get that.

Don’s review

Vehicle drives very well easy controls my only complaint is the ride is very stiff. Turning radius is good line of sight is good we love the back up camera. Fold up mirrors would be nice. Cargo area is very adequate.

The rear window doesn't open. Really?

The only thing I find fault with my Hyundai Fanta Fe Sport is that the rear window doesn't open. This limits what I can carry in the rear cargo area. Everything else about the vehicle is exceptional.

Road tested most all brands in SUV category price range from $24,000 to $70,000 and found this as best value and most maintenance free - Comfort was equal to or better than all vehicles tested - Reliability also equal to or better than all vehicles tested - Lucked out when I found this one!

love my santa fe sport. only complaint is the take off is slow but I read that in the comments before I bought it so wasn't surprised. If the takeoff was normal, I would rate as excellent. I do wish I had understood how the santa fe is sold in "packages".. Didn't quite understand that different packages gave different things. rode in one that had certain amenities, so when I said I liked it but wanted power seats, I thought it would have all I saw in other car.

My Santa fe

The only thing I do not like about my vehicle are two things I have to deal with while driving One is where the call button is. On the lower steering wheel where I put my hands when driving so I hang up on most calls. And when turning off the high beams I frequently shut off the lights which of course is very hazsardness.

very fun to drive, has all the options including the turbo. fuel mileage could be better for a small SUV. no front sensors, camera only comes on when you turn it on or put selector in reverse first, this makes for parking close to something in the front a hassle. navigation must use SD to cad to update, should be automatic with the satellite feed does not have remote start

Brilliant

Great vehicle including the color inside and out. I don’t really have much to say, that’s why my comments were small, I truly enjoyed my visit . Personnel were extremely attentive. Since I come from Rockland County that’s why my visits are limited. Thank you for the opportunity.

Really nice car the powertrain is needs a little work though.

I really love everything about this car except for the engine option that I picked I pick the 2.0 turbo he just hesitates a lot when you push on the gas especially if you’re not you have a come to a complete stop can you hit the gas again it’s quite a delay it’s really frustrating sometimes to drive this car with the turbo lag I’ve made a complaint about this to the dealership they say that’s just the way the car was designed. It seems to be really noticeable when you have your transmission and eco-mode the hesitation is even more pronounced. Otherwise this is a fantastic car very comfortable quiet the interior is beautiful the looks of it is beautiful. If Hyundai could just fix the transmission or the engine the turbo lag in particular it’s just not that responsive that’s my only complaint about this car once you get going it’s great runs good on the freeway lots of power to pass so it is a very nice car.

Reviewing our 2018 Santa Fe Sport.

We took our 5 year old Elantra in for service, and walked out with our Santa Fe Sport! Having a home built Teardrop camper, we needed a better "pulling" vehicle. The Santa Fe Sport has truly filled that spot! We love the vehicle! We don't even know that we are pulling anything! And our dog loves it!!

fun to drive and easy on the wallet!

I traded in a big ford f150 because we were moving to the northwest and I wanted something with room, but that I could find parking for in Portland. This little SUV does the trick. Easy on gas mileage, easy care, easy to drive, and you guess it pretty darn easy to park!

I really like my car, except for a couple minor dislikes. The side back of the body seems a little high, which makes it hard for me to see clearly if someone is coming up behind me. And my back up camera would be nice if there was a sound to let me know how close I am to another vehicle or person.

Great value

We bought this as a family car and it has a lot of features for the price. The fuel economy could be better in this range however it has decent performance and HP. The cabin size is roomy and comfortable so this is a great small family car

Very happy with the car!

Looks and drives great. Our Ultimate Sport has all the bells and whistles that many of the higher end brands have, but far less money. The only reason for the 4 stars is the painted rims are starting to chip away. Hopefully, it's covered under warranty! Otherwise, a great economical car.

Good Vehicle

This is a great vehicle! I was in a very bad car wreck in a Hyundai Tuscon and only had a broken hand. I had a totaled out car. These Hyundai's do the job. After my wreck I bought a Hyundai Santa Fe Sport. My daughter brought a Electra and my son bought a Kona. We are a Hyundai Family. We will keep buying Hyundai's!!

Love my car!

I'v only had Toyotas before this vehicle, but I really love it. The only issue I've had is with the apple music/screen. It's a little annoying to always have to plug it in, but also sometimes it hasn't read it correctly or the screen with go black. That's difficult when needing directions.
