Overall this is a nice vehicle. My daughter has the same make and model with the exception being that she has turbo and i do not. Her vehicle is much nicer than mine, i wish mine was the turbo model too.

sante fe is a beautiful car, handles nicely... wish I had driven the Tucson to compare.... Santa fe seems to be too much car for me... I have trouble backing car up& I am afraid to hit someone or something behind me..... not good over all view to back up

a maybe car

We had a 2018 Tucson LT but we got rid of it because the transmission was not doing very it kept jerking and would fall on its face taking on acceleration. The dealer told me to learn how to drive it and that didn't set well with use so we got rid of it. We had this 2018 Tucson LT in the shop 4 times for the transmission and acceleration problems and got the same old story. that said the Santa Fe is ok but just ok. WE lost a lot of money of the hole deal and trust me that wont happen again at Hyundai.

Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2.4

We purchased this vehicle for my wife as a grocery-getter, and we also use it to drive down to Florida every winter. For the Florida run the car is extremely quiet and much more comfortable than expected, it simply eats up the miles while hauling a lot of luggage and delivers an average of 28 mpg for that run. We selected the smallest engine - the naturally aspirated 2,4 -and it has plenty of pick-up for normal traffic. If you have aspirations to lay some rubber you should make a different choice For everyday use My wife likes the high seat and good visibility. It also has a lot of space for groceries and grand kids. She loves the fact that the telephone is hands-free and we can get navigation on the screen. The tailgate hands-free opening feature is also very appreciated

this santa fe sport was very nice to take on long trips, good on gas, good leg room. We took it to northern NY, it was a great drive. felt very safe while on the long trip up and back. had a lot of room for our luggage.

Satisfied

Love my vehicle....my only concern is no automatic start. I have purchased three Hyundai's in the past and had automatic start installed in each of them. I have Bluelink for three years which is unreliable. I would need to purchase Blue link after 3 years which isn't likely.

I like this car better than most that I've owned.

I really like this car. It is quiet, good looking, and powerful enough for what I want to do. It rides well. I like riding higher up in the air. HVAC ducts for the back seat is a good idea. The see through, roll down curtains are a plus. Simplicity and dependable functionality is appreciated and this car has a lot of that. I feel the abundance of computer monitoring stuff on the dash, rear view mirror, and steering wheel is much overdone. The microphone, built-in cell phone, and other automated stuff is not appreciated. I'd like that stuff to be gone because it is mostly wasted on me.

LOVELY VEHICLE

I have been very pleased with my 2018 Santa Fe, I have a 2010 Santa Fe, which has given me excellent service. I will say some of the quality on my 2010 is better, especially in the rear storage area.

Great Car Overall

The only issue I have is the seat is raised in both sides and I sometimes find myself sitting in that hump and it’s rather uncomfortable. Great turn radius and very comfortable ride otherwise. The sport mode is fantastic also.

2018 Santa Fe Sport

I am getting more and more frustrated with this model... Since April of this year, we have had it in the shop 3 times!!! We have 19,000 miles on it so far...There was a recall on this vehicle, but had issues with it a few weeks before the recall came out...the harness belt if the problem, and am hoping this 3rd time adjustment will be the FINAL one...

I am happy with my santa fe sport..great ride and comfort..my only complant is the fuel tank is to small..mileage range is 325 miles ..I previously had a g-80 genesis and the range was 425 miles......

2018 Santa Fe Sport Ultimate

Almost perfect automobile. Poor sound system audio quality and radio. Outside mirrors don’t automatically fold in when car is locked. Dashboard way too busy. Driver’s seat doesn’t have power side and seat bolsters, rear of seat doesn’t raise high enough to be rqual with front of seat, which would allow less driver fatigue on long drives. Figure out how to make range >400 miles on a tankful. Bogus walnut panel inserts do not enhance appearance. Market the top of line Ultimate v. Audi, BMW, MB, Buick, Acura, et.al. Combine Kia and Hyundai dealer network to provide stronger, fiercely competitive, financially robust, dealerships.

Santafe sport review

Although I have not driven this vehicle as often as most people would I have only a few comments worth noting. This review is based on mostly local driving since the car currently has less than 7000 miles. The mileage obtained has been as expected. The acceleration is terrific. The ride in my estimation is rather stiff which I hope will improve over time. The cargo area has been adequate for our needs. Seats 4 people with plenty of room.

2018 Santa Fe

Overall we are pleased with our Santa Fe Sport. We have not had any mechanical problems with this vehicle at all. We plan on keeping this vehicle a while so we like the 100k warranty. The only thing I would suggest for my personal taste is quieter engine noise in the cabin of the vehicle. It’s not overwhelming by any stretch but when you accelerate quickly it’s pretty noticeable. Overall we like the Santa Fe Sport.

Love my Santa Fe

When I made the decision to trade my Sonata in I knew I wanted an suv. One day I saw a black Santa Fe on the showroom floor I knew that was the one I wanted, just not black. Brent my sales rep did some searching and found me a blue one, and I took it home. This last winter was a good test to see if I made the right choice, I did. The Santa Fe handled the ice and snow with no issues. Thank you Tom Dinsdale Hyundai for your help and wonderful service.

2018 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport.... Nice

I love my 2018 Santa Fe Sport. It handles well, responds extremely well for a four banger. The only issue I have is that Hyundai is having problems with the 2.4 liter engine that I have in my car. It hasn't given me a problem this far, but having that in the back of my mind is somewhat stressful. I enjoy driving it and love the extras that make it feel like a more expensive vehicle. I'd give it five stars except for the stress factor but otherwise awesome. One of the few cars left with a real six speed transmission that makes you feel like you're driving a "CAR".

Couldn't be more satisfied with the Santa Fe Sport, great vehicle. Comfortable on long trips, camera system is great, Cargo area is big with plenty of hidden storage. Nice lines and the color choices are nice.

2018 model Santa Fe Sport

Overall I love my Santa Fe. I take the time to park it in the garage when not in use, keep it clean, waxed and well serviced doing most of the work myself as a hobby. The reason for not giving it five stars is that it's not as peppy as I would have liked and the turning seems a little difficult. I'm used to it now and it just might be the longer wheel base compared to the other cars I've driven. It is very comfortable and does very well in the snow. I'm a little concerned about how easily the front bumper assembly is to flex, when pushed by hand. At first I thought it may be missing a bolt but when I was at the show room other Santa Fe's had the same movement. Hopefully Hyundai did their homework and this is an intended design feature.

Comfortable, well-made SUV

Thought my trusty 2003 Hyundai AWD Santa Fe had finally died and needed a replacement to comfortably accommodate my aging parents and their equipment. Opted for the all-the-bells-and-whistles 2018 Santa Fe Sport Turbo AWD and have been quite happy ever since (oh yeah - my 2003 was just kidding and is very much still in the game, runnin' like a champ!). My dad remarks frequently how impressed he is with my new car (comfortable, heated seats, minimal road noise, etc.), notable for a guy who doesn't much "go on" about ANYTHING. Haven't had occasion to drive it in snow or on ice yet, but since my 2003 Santa Fe has handled everything the Pacific Northwest has thrown at it like a boss, I'm expecting the 2018 AWD to at least equal the performance of the 2003 and last as long (16 years and counting).
