Crew cab dually 3500 Laramie Longhorn

Great truck overall plenty of power to pull our 32' living quarters horse trailer, I would like to see the mileage better than 10 miles to the gallon while pulling a load.

Ram 3500 Megacab short box Diesel

New 6.7 Cummins

Well the extra power over the 5.9 is nice but there are two major drawbacks to this truck. The mileage is really bad compared to the 5.9, I mean really bad. My 5.9 would average around 14 in the city, the 6.7 is getting around 10. On the highway the 5.9 would get 22 if you did 68 mph with 33" e rated tires. The 6.7 gets 15 with the same set up. Both have the exact same modifications. Second draw back is the weight. For almost 2000 extra pounds it makes the range REALLY suck! Towing I can't get it go do better than 9 mpg on the flat at 65mph. If the 5.9 came in a mega cab I would be still in one. I love the comfort of the Mega cab but I do see this as a short term purchase.

Lots of power, but?

It's been a good pickup all things considered, but the O2 sensors going out constantly are about to drive me nuts. I had a ford with 670,000 miles on it that didn't have this kind of crap going on with it all the time. The 07 Dodge pickup that I had had the same issue. Why the hell cant they fix it!
