2009 XC90 - very pleased after five+ years of owning it.

It took a while to find just the right one with the V8 motor and tow package already installed. I looked at several other ones that had significant maintenance needs. This one was well taken care of and we use it for adventures and towing light weight campers. The rear AC upgrade is handy when traveling with people. I would have liked to have found one of the "Executive" trim level ones with the massage unit built into the drivers seat. I bought a used set of rims and have snow tires mounted on them.

XC90

Very nice to drive, comfortable, spacious interior lots of room to haul stuff. Easy to maneuver for it's size. Bought a 2009, no history. It has been constant repair needs, belts & seized pullies, rack & pinion replaced, bearings. All spendy fixes. Buying a used vehicle always is a gamble, but a rack and pinion shouldn't fail at 100,000 miles. Considering I don't know what care and maintenance was or was not done, I don't know if the trouble is the vehicle or lack of maintenance
