I had a rough time at another Hyundai dealer closer to my home, so I called Jenkins Hyundai of Ocala
and was put in touch with Jon Townsend. He was newer, but a pro at getting me the exact vehicle I wanted with no extras or add-ons being sold or stuck on and being forced to pay for, and was able to get me tint added on plus some other things that would normally be additional fees included! He followed up on every request, including my ask that I not pick up the vehicle over 2 weeks after its purchase due to business travel and vacations that were already in the works (and having to get the exact car I wanted delivered from another dealer). Although Jon said he was new, he acted like an experienced veteran, and I really made the whole experience a joy. As I told Jeremy the sales manager personally, when my wife needs a new vehicle, we will be back to Jenkins.

Buying a car can be such a stressful experience but my salesperson Jason put me at total ease. I told
him what I wanted in a vehicle and he steered me in the right direction with no pushy sales pitches. I found a great car and the whole process was seamless. Thanks to the Seekonk Hyundai team! And did I say it is a woman owned business? Woohoo!

The Only Place That Makes Me Look Forward to Car Maintenance
Five stars. No notes. Actually, I have notes, but they're mostly compliments with unnecessary levels
of drama.
I came to Hyundai of Cape Cod expecting... an oil change. What I got was suspiciously good customer service.
Venessa continues to hold the title of my favorite employee. She's always fantastic, remembers people, and somehow makes sitting around while strangers poke at your car enjoyable.
However, I have a new contender for second place: the Irish gentleman at the service desk. We ended up having a genuinely lovely conversation. I won't say what we talked about because some things belong in the archives of history, but it was delightful. Then he had the audacity to ask if I'd like coffee or tea. Sir, I came here expecting fresh oil, not first-class treatment. I felt like I should've started speaking with a British accent.
Now let's discuss the restroom, because apparently that's who I've become.
For the first time, I needed to use it. Clean? Check. Regular stall? Check. Handicap stall? Check. Paper towels? Thank goodness, yes.
Unfortunately... there was also an air dryer.
Who is actually finishing the job with those things? They sound like a jet engine preparing for takeoff and somehow your hands are still damp enough to start a rice farm afterward. Thankfully, the paper towels restored my faith in humanity.
Also, I can't help but laugh at the environmental messaging behind an air dryer... in a building dedicated to servicing cars. "Save the planet with this hand dryer!" says the dealership changing the oil in my car. I respect the effort. The irony just gave me a chuckle.
I've somehow never tried the snack bar, but this visit had me reconsidering my life choices. Everything looked ridiculously good. One of these days I'm going to schedule an oil change based solely on snack availability.
Best of all, my car left happier than I did. It was running so smoothly I started wondering if they'd secretly replaced the entire engine while I was chatting. It practically purred all the way home.
So thank you to Venessa, thank you to the Irish gentleman for making an oil change weirdly enjoyable, and thank you to everyone at Hyundai of Cape Cod. You have somehow turned routine maintenance into something I don't immediately try to procrastinate.
That's either excellent customer service... or Stockholm syndrome. Either way, I'll definitely be back.
