Confused and Somewhat Disappointed
My car was towed to Taylor as the check engine light was blinking (with a major engine misfire) due to a Hyundai service bulletin identifying such an issue. During the service process, I was advised that my 2012 Sonata was not part of the bulletin. However, even though my car identified an oxygen sensor code (and maybe more) that was never addressed yet alone identified for repair. Taylor did replace my starter (appreciated on a 10 year old car), but never explained why engine light code was not corrected. After a week, the check engine light is on again (because the cause was not repaired). Not sure what happened in Perrysburg over the years as I have been faithful customer since 2014 spending hundreds if not a couple thousand dollars for maintenance and repairs due to the excellent service provided. I am a very disappointed (loyalty fading) after my third negative experience in about 12 months.

Tire purchase
Had a tire replaced, as we had a puncture that could not be repaired. I dropped off the tire and picked up the new tire the next day. Paid $20 for “installation, balancing and mounting”. Problem is that I mounted the tire myself at home. I was charged for service not rendered. When I got the tire home to mount on my car, I checked the tire pressure, it was +60psi. I corrected the pressure to 33psi and mounted the tire. I’ll let you know how well it was balanced…..good thing I double checked!

Long wait….
Over 3 hour wait…..waiting area was dirty, I arrived at 930 am. As soon as my 36k maintenance plan is up I will not return.

NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!
What ever happened to customer service - Covid cannot be the scape goat for everything. Good customer service starts with the first call coming in. Several instances of no one avail., then no one returning messages. Had to go out of my way to stop in, only to be told that I couldn't even get an appt. for a month. Once my issue became worse, I was finally escalated, and was able to get in, but then was put off and delayed. Entire process lacked any concern for my vehicles issues, or my needs. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

After submitting my review with a poor rating and explanation why, received an email from the dealership apologizing for the poor service I experienced,. Since I did not have another service appointment to see if improvements have been made, they offered a free oil change at my next appointment. Was satisfied with their explanation, and apology and offer of free oil change.

Sorry about your experience with our service department. Josh should have communicated better with you on the completion your car. We have new process we have to follow from Hyundai and that has slowed us down a little in the training of the system. I can promise this won’t happen again. I was very disappointed in my service experience with Hyundai Due to lack of communication. My vehicle was towed from my residence on November 18, 2021 however I made multiple attempts to reach someone regarding the status of my vehicle and never received a call back. I had to reach out to my sales agent at Hyundai which intern contacted the Perrysburg location on my behalf. I received a call from Josh in the service area the next day apologizing for my experience and providing me with his cell phone number and the assurance that he would keep in contact with me regarding the status of my vehicle. he also apologized for my experience and informed me that it would not be until at least December 1 that someone will be able to look at my vehicle due to lack of staffing. I received a call from Josh on December 3 stating that my vehicle was ready for pick up and I consider this great customer service Josh save the day as far as I’m concerned and followed through on his commitment and I appreciate his dedication to customer service thank you
