A solid and dependable automobile

Never had a major problem. Have over 83.000 miles on this automobile. I have service performed regularly by SunMark Automotive Repair Service. The only time I take it to the dealer is for a recall which has been two or three times.

Engine seized

I was happy with my 2013 Sonata, until my engine seized at 79,000 miles. Luckily, it was covered under my extended warranty. The car was reliable and got decent gas mileage. My experience getting refunded by Hyundai was a headache. I was never fully compensated and the corporate office employees are rude. My car is running fine now, but I will NEVER buy another Hyundai. Don't waste your money on a Hyundai.

Great Car

I bought my 2013 Sonata when my 2004 Sonata with 198,000 miles gave up the ghost. I’ve never had any issues with my Sonatas. I love my 2013 it’s a limited edition. I can’t say enough good about it.

Good looking but let’s be serious, Toyota and Honda are better choices. It’s a great car if you don’t have one, but if you can afford this car you can afford a Corolla, a Civic, or a Camry, all of which are better made.

Best auto I’ve ever owned

Sonata top-end performance model. Outstanding performance, handling, acceleration and comfort. And incredibly reliable. Transmission override easy and intuitive the (few) times it’s needed for best performance.

Love this vehicle, it has been a dream to drive, and other than regular maintenence it has not been a problem with any major repairs. Gas economy is excellent, and has been virtually without any issues.

Hyundai Sonata limited 2.0 T

This is the best car I’ve ever owned. Comes with useful extras and has 120,000 miles. I will be putting on a new set of brakes originals finally wearing out. A few sets of tires. Did amazing when caught in a snow storm, no chains. Good maintenance has kept it running well and has not been very expensive. Stylish as well, we continue to get many compliments on the lines and color Did add dark window tinting which helped a great deal with heat and brightness from all the glass. Paint pealing clear coat has been an issue. Hard to find a local dealer.

Good Value

This Sonata was somewhat less expensive than comparable Fords, Toyotas and Hondas, but it has been very dependable, requiring no significant repairs, and it is a comfortable mid-size sedan with a little zip and decent handling and fuel economy. It handles well in inclement weather (wind, rain and snow). It has decent headroom and foot room and good safety ratings. I have been very pleased with it.

Good and bad

It has been the best car I have ever had until the engine quit without warning. I got a new car every two years with my old company and had several different car makers during that time. I still think this car has been the best but a little concerned with the way it stopped in traffic without any warning signs at all

Car has been very dependable

Bought car new. Currently has 86k miles and still gets 32-35 mpg on highway. No minor or major problems encountered. Always kept up with maintenance and runs like a top. Handles very well,gives the sensation of driving a family sports car with the turbo

Overall, a good car

Apart from the engine seizing up at just over 100,000 miles, and repairs specifically related to shoddy dealership work regarding that repair/replacement, we have been extremely pleased with our 2013 Sonata 2.0T.

Good reliable vehicle. I have been completely satisfied with my previous service and the quality of my vehicle. I will definitely consider a Hyundai again.

My 2013 Sonata had lots of amenities that came standard. Quality vehicle. Easy to drive. The only thing missing was the in the windshield drive information (cannot recall specific name for it). I had it in my previous car and loved it.

Definitely a gas saver. Save me a lot of money during long trip without sucking too much gas. I live the style of sonata Hyundai. Features are very useful and interior seat are very comfortable during long drive . Easy to clean

My last three vehicles have been from hyundai, cars are good vehicles to have, had some issues but hyundai was quick to handle the issues with no problem. Would recommend to friends and family to purchase from hyundai.

I will keep my Hyundai Sonata forever! This has been one of the best vehicles I've owned. Love my Sonata, do not like Hyundai warranty service

This is my third Hyundai Sonata, I love them, but my engine failed at 98,500 miles I have perfect service records Merrill was change three times a year I’ve done all my major services I’ve taken in for every call but I was left on the side of the road with no coverage for a tow truck of course and 80 days to get my engine replaced and it took them like two days to do it but it was mostly Hyundai not sending the parts that they needed since apparently they don’t really care if I buy another SonataI will not be doing so I’ll be looking someplace else for my next new car After being a loyal Hyundai customer for over 15 years now

Very reliable

This Hyundai 2013 version is very good and strong vehicle comfortable to drive. Even with the accident I had with it ,it's still look strong and driveable . The engine is fantastic when driving its not like any other cars that would be giving you some funny sound . I could recommend it any time to anybody interested in buying the vehicle.
