I just moved back to Binghamton, and after great recommendations from friends, wanted to get my car to Anthony’s right away. Tried for three days to use their online appointment system and never heard anything back. So…I finally took car in person - for engine light - and when I mentioned frustration with online request service, the guy told me “we never use that”. No apology. He then told me they would call me with update that day. I heard nothing. I called next day - was told part ordered - would be completed next day. That’s 3 days so far. When I heard nothing again, I called again. Same story - would be done next day. Now we’re into weekend - so was told car would be ready Saturday. I waited all day - heard nothing - so I called them again - they told me car would be ready Monday. Nothing on Monday. I had to call them again to get update. Car finally done on Tuesday… that’s 6 days total with just one call from them - when car was ready for pickup. 6 days!
All of this hassle and delay would be fine if they had one modicum of customer service - simple “please” and “thank you” and “I’m sorry” can go a long way. I got ZERO of that.
Super frustrating when you really want to like and trust your new mechanic - and instead, you’re treated like a nuisance and a bother.
