Called them to have work done on my car. Told me on the phone it would be $463. Which was roughly $100 cheaper than another place. So I scheduled my appointment for the following week. Dropped off my car and got a ride home just to get a call and say it is now going to be over $700 because they didnt include the outer tie rods. Even though I specifically said inner and outer on the phone. And even though the guy on the phone told me that price would be out the door which included an alignment. Before posting this review I went to speak to the General Manager at the 1st Ave store. He claims we didn't talk about the outer even though I specifically remember him verifying it on the phone. Than I said ok thanks I wanted to allow you an opportunity to make it right before leaving any negative reviews. Than he says I don't take kindly to threats. I said it wasn't a threat I was giving him an opportunity to make it right and after he said he wasnt going to follow through with his quote he told me thats when I mentioned it. Because businesses will always make mistakes from time to time but it is how a business takes care of their customer will make a customer for life. If they dont then they make a customer that will share the horrible experience with everyone they talk to. Matt's Automotive does not own up to their mistakes.
