Good Day Abigail, My apologizes on the vehicle battery being dead when you picked it up, I'm not sure why it was dead maybe a light got left on?? The vehicle did sit here for a month while we waited for you to make a decision to fix the vehicle after it was involved in a accident. As far as the vehicle being dirty and the power steering fluid being low, I'm not sure what you are referring to as far as the vehicle being dirty? this is Vermont and all vehicles are dirty right now with the winter months, the power steering we did not work on anything that pertained to the power steering fluid. I really would have appreciated a phone call with these concerns.
As a customer who has only been to our shop Two Times, I apologize you feel your experience was poor. Your first visit was an Oil change, which was an hour as you were told when the vehicle was dropped off. As for your second visit, you were very clear that you wanted your Battery/Starter tested. Diagnostics are not free, nor at any auto repair shop you go to. When the vehicle was finished, you were contacted. When picking up the vehicle you felt it was unfair that you had to pay for the diagnostic. We were very thourough with all of you requests, and explaining the vehicle charges. The staff is very friendly, professional and thourough with all of our customers. Its unfortunate when cost is an issue, it turns to poor service and lack of customer service.
We have a very friendly staff at Notch Road Auto. We have service representatives and parts runners that are in and out of our building as well that are not part of our staff. It's not usually a business practice of ours to greet people outside of the building because we do run on a schedule and our mechanics are focused on the scheduled vehicles to get them out in a timely manor. If you had said something to anyone on our staff, they would have definitely stopped, acknowledged or replied. We apologize from our staff if that did not happen and guarantee once through the office doors you will be greeted in a welcoming manor.
This was a New customer to our shop, the customer called and made the appointment that same day around 11 am, the appointment was for 4 pm for a 4 tire mount and balance. The customer and the vehicle arrived late at 4:30 pm on a Friday afternoon (with no Courtesy call to say he would be late), by the time it was unloaded from the flat bed it was 4:45 pm. We did not have enough time to do all 4 tires (which the customer was told when he arrived), we where able to get the one tire that was flat replaced and the customer back on the road for the weekend. We did work with this customer to get him back on the road, I could not help the time in which the customer and vehicle arrived!
In response to Diane, there must have been miscommunication. her previous visit she had blower motor issues. She had us order the parts and had scheduled an appointment for the work to be done. She then cancelled stating the next time she came in to do the work. Some parts ordered are not able to be returned which was explained previously. We apologize for the miscommunication, normally we do ask before doing any work on a customers vehicle. We enjoy having Diane as a very friendly customer!
