Have been trying to work with this "team" since October '25 when it became evident there was excessive oil burning through the motor. The vehicle in question is certified pre-owned, with warranty coverage up to 100k miles. This "team" started the oil consumption test in October, where we are supposed to check every 1000 miles...WELL we are 4months into this and their service team refuses to respond with any appointments for us to continue the process. I was able to connect with their service manager Kurt M. yesterday, where he apologized for the inconvenience but to get him the mileage of the car and we'll go from there to restart the process. I've emailed, called, text, every way he requested, with a response of crickets. I've been in the metro about 25yrs now, bought from dealerships from Stews, Bob Brown, Willis, and hell even the cheap east side cars. This dealership, my word, the lack of communication, or previous communication from Ben that was misleading and inaccruate to where he claimed my wife damaged something while it was in their shop...Needless to say, I have no idea how we can now get warranty service done on the vehicle as I contacted Hyundai Corporate customer service, and they confirmed it has to be a certified dealer, the closest one for us outside of these clowns...Waterloo.
