Great car

I have nothing but positive things to say about the Genesis. This is my third one that I leased and am highly satisfied by the ride, style, performance, comfort, economy and pricing. I have previously owned Lexus and Jaguars. This is right up there with them on quality and reliability.

I enjoy my G70 3.3T Sport RWD

I can say I wasn’t in the market for a Genesis & really didn’t know about the brand. I accidentally discovered it when I was visiting a Hyundai dealership to look at another vehicle. Saw the G70 & the more I looked the more I liked. I eventually bought one. Good decision on my part.

Great Car

I have really enjoyed this vehicle since the day it arrived. Many nice features and high quality touches make this an all around great choice. It is a fun and reliable car. I have not had any issues from day one it came roaring out of the gate. It’s really a great vehicle.

Love it

I don’t want my review made public. I was going to get the Audi as I have for many many years until I discovered Genesis. I love this car and I would get this style again. I saw with the newest 2022 version looks like and I don’t like it at all so I don’t want that car next. I don’t like that you guys removed the 2020 little logo that’s on the back and instead you put the words Genesis across the back now it looks like a Toyota. I do not want the new car because of that. When I go to turn this car in next year I really hope that you will have a car that looks just like mine now so I can get it in a different color. I do not want to get the newest style. It looks terrible. I think my car looks better than a Maserati and I want to keep it that way

I love my G70

Love the car and almost everything about it. Only thing is be careful in the rain. I almost lost it in light rain coming off an exit at only 30 mpg. Scared the everything out of me. I wish the headliner matched the interior. Its grey and gets dirty easy.

Great, driver-centric car!

Before this car, I drove a 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback. Great commuter car, but I wanted something more fun and comfortable after a few years of owning it. I did a bunch of research in 2020 and the Genesis G70 caught my eye after winning a ton of awards from Car and Driver and other publications. After a quick test drive at a Genesis dealership, I was smitten and immediately bought it. 2 years and 12000 miles later, I still get a smile across my face when I drive the car because it's that fun to get in and drive! All of the controls are in easy-to-reach spots, the seats are comfortable and supportive for spirited driving, and the sound system is really good to the point where you can tell the difference between low quality sources and high quality sources. It's super quick; sport mode really tightens up the steering and communicates what the car is doing, as well as changing the throttle response and how long manual mode sticks.

I love the way the car looks. It is beautiful. I wish the back seat was bigger. I have gotten several compliments on my car. I have bought several Genesis vehicles. The previous ones were Genesis G80 for elegance. This time I went for a sporty look.

I think it’s ridiculous to ask me to fill out a survey and elicit my opinion and then not let me submit the survey unless I write pros and cons they are going to reproduce somewhere- corporate America at its finest. Do you really care about the criticism I have truthfully put in the survey or is this all for marketing?

Love my G70

The minute I walked into the showroom, I saw a black 3.3T and it really caught my eye. The dealership had a lot of vehicles but I eventually came back to the black one in the showroom. I eventually bought it and I’ve been very pleased with it. I’m sure anyone else would feel the same.

Love styling and performance but need separate Genesis dealerships!

Love styling and performance of my G70 3.3T Sports, but am disappointed that promises of concierge service and “luxury” dealership treatment we’re unfulfilled due to lack of dedicated Genesis dealerships. Car also had some problems with finish of exterior chrome trim which initially looked great but deteriorated after a year or so.

The car itself is pretty good, however the dealership service experience is terrible, much closer to a Dodge dealership experience than a luxury car dealership experience. Should have separate service centers from the Hyundai or Kia service centers..

My Opinion

I enjoy the car I like the way it looks it handles really good the front of the car looks really good it’s probably the best future. But like I said could use more space in the back and entertainment system could be better. Looking forward to hopefully when is time to trading in for the GV80.

Awful, terrible experience. Caveat Emptor...

Vehicle has proven to be incredibly unreliable. The fuel system gets contaminated and never gets cleaned out properly. The vehicle has been into the service shop at least 15 times in 24 months. I think the service organization knows my car better than I do. They had my car from slightly before Thanksgiving until the end of January before returning it. It took about one month before the check engine light came back on again. Don't You Love it?

Excellent vehicle

Completely happy with our 2020 genesis G70. Has met every expectation we have had. Bought this vehicle because of it's warranty and excellent reputation that hyundai has.We purchased a Elantra in 2014 and it's been a fantastic vehicle and still going strong.

Love the Brand

Great vehicle, I also love the concierge service that comes along with this brand. The ride is smooth and enjoyable. I plan to inquire on purchasing the GV70, which shoes shows just how much I love the Genesis brand and what they stand for, safety, luxury, reliability, performance, and class.

Genesis G70 3.3

Delightful performance, in city and highway. Rocket sled acceleration with 3.3. Head-turning styling. In first year of ownership, very reliable. With crazy used car prices, my G70 is worth more today, a year later with 12000 miles, than what I paid for it. Based on my market research, I knew before buying that both the trunk and the fuel tank were smaller than my previous Lexus vehicles, despite the exterior dimensions being very comparable (so where did Genesis use the missing volume -- a design mystery.) The vehicle is irritatingly low to the ground causing brushing contact with curbs and parking lot barriers. Finally, Hyundai has still not mastered creating distinctive Lexus-like service for its Genesis line, at least not at the two Genesis (actually Hyundai) dealers I have dealt with.
