An Excellent Car

I drove a Mercedes C300 and a BMW 330i. The Genesis drove more like a Mercedes than the Mercedes did, and gave up nothing to the BMW while having much more appealing styling. While the BMW dealer never missed a chance to remind me how unimportant I was to them, the Genesis warranty and dealership experience has been overwhelmingly positive.

The best car I have ever owned

Great styling, handling, comfort, value, and power. My only complaints are that some of the interior buttons feel cheap and flimsy, namely the Parking camera and moonroof buttons. Also, the key fob connector broke off from the fob and I almost lost it. I was surprised to see how inadequate the connection was.

Excellent vehicle, so-so dealership

The G70 twin turbo is an excellent driver's vehicle. Acceleration, handling, and comfort are outstanding. I receive many compliments on the styling and overall looks. My only complaint is the dealership, specifically the service department. They are extremely hard to get on the phone, and when trying to schedule service for something as simple as an oil change, an appointment is not available for a month. Plus, they can't tell me what the recommended interval is for an oil change. I've heard everything from 3,000 to 8,000 miles depending on who I talk to at the dealership. Too bad that such a nice car have such sub-par support.

My G70

I'm not sure what the issue is, whether it's me or the computer. I want to believe I have a defective computer, because it changes from day to day the settings itself. I've given up on taking it to the service department. They probably think I'm the problem, so as long as it gets me there (destination)and back (home) I'll accept what ever changes it makes until May 31, 2026.
