Love my car

My previous car was a Jaguar sedan that I loved but did not love increasing reliability and cost problems. The Genesis is my first SUV and I couldn’t be happier. It’s beautiful, fun to drive, and comfortable. Great warranty

My Dream Car!

I love my Genesis! I’ve always looked the sleek look of the GV70, but when I test drove it, I knew it was the vehicle for me. I’m so I’m glad I was able to get my dream car.

Disappointment

My name is Janis Austin my address is 109 Scarlett Place Drive, Bowdon, Ga. 30108. Phone number 1 404 312 5666. I purchased my 2025 Genesis GV70 October 2024. I love my Genesis even though I have several issues with my car since purchase. All records are with Southtown Genesis in Newnan Georgia. The issue that I am addressing again is a big safety issue with my car. When I pull out into traffic my car hesitates to the point of stalling and I am stuck in the middle of the road until it decides to go again. I never know when it is going to happen. It is very random which makes it even worse. I did have it looked at for this problem and they changed something with the fuel injector but that didn’t help. This last time I was told “yes we have had complaints about this” something about transmission and then brushed it off. When I asked again, she (Star) told me when they when they have a loner they will have me bring it back in but have heard nothing else. Forest (service at same location) said some issues, especially random issues are very hard to tract down. I explained to Forest that this problem is not an irritant it is truly a dangerous issue! A liability. I also told Forest I feel my efforts to be heard is non existent. This is not my first attempt to reach someone on a higher level with no response. I really hope this is NOT discarded.

A nice car but there are areas of improvement

I enjoy driving the car as the performance is good and a comfortable ride. The technology features are what I need and not over the top. Every problem I have with the car stems from the dealership or wanting to avoid them at all costs.

Best car owned

I had Lexus and Infiniti before, this is the best car I owned. The ride is great and very quiet cabin. The cabin is beautiful abd high end materials. The seats are comfortable but are a little hard. The technology is great. I recommend this car 100%.

Disappointed

I was hoping to keep this car for many years. But will look for something better in a few years. The locking of the doors is a major gripe. I'm having to wait until all doors are closed before locking. Kids/wife takes a while to gather everything and exit. So I get the fob out and wait. I also don't like the wheel shift. Might as well use push buttons I'd prefer shifter.

2025 GV70 review

Pretty good car. I'm happy about the tires being good. I'm not happy when i hit my head getting into the car. I hate that I always have to log in when I get into the car. Fingerprint was a pain as well and my husband's print doesn't work. I hate that the passenger door is still locked, after I get home and am unloading. The drink holders in console and the doors do not work for our coffee cups and water bottles. That is the worst feature that annoys us. The good is the new-car smell is still good. Tires are still good. Besides a recall that I had to take it into and another issue that I am having (humming when I turn the steering wheel), no other issues. I don't know whether I will buy another Genesis though, because of the above complaints.

One of my favorite vehicles ever!

This is my 2nd Genesis. I had the G80 sedan and it was awesome! Unfortunately, I had a few low back surgeries and didn't want to have to bend down low to get into a sedan anymore. So, when my lease was up, I did some heavy research into medium size SUVs. I test drove all the premium models from Audi, BMW, Acura, Volvo, Lexus and Infiniti. Not one of them in my mind came all that close to the comfort, acceleration, roominess and the quality and well-appointed nature of the interior. Genesis is super user-friendly as yes, they have adopted great technology, but also kept simple buttons for immediate access to most important functions, where many other brands have gone so deeply digital that it takes 4-5 layers of menus and apps just to change the cabin temperature. Genesis did it right. I have had a number of other vehicles from the brands listed above and not only is the Genesis nicer in most aspects, but for drastically reduced pricing; a combination that is very hard to beat and even harder to pass up when looking for your next ride :)
