2026 Genesis GV70

Love my vehicle. I previously drove a BMW X3, which I loved, but the preventative maintenance was SO expensive. I research luxury vehicles with high reliability and low cost to own and Genesis was in the top 5. I love this vehicle even more than my BMW. The interior is beautiful, it looks more high end and elegant, yet sporty than the BMW. So may customizable options. It’s a perfect size, not too small or big, as was my BMW. The outside is beautiful and elegant, it is unique looking. This car is a great value.

The Genesis GV70 handles so well in all the Nebraska driving conditions; snow, rain, high wind and icy combinations. Powers through and anticipates a response so safe on gravel, slick pavement, deep snow, and windy conditions.

Tremendous. Fun car to drive. Minor issues

Just a great automobile. My friends all find it elegant and cool. My 3.5 engine packs a punch. Interior better than competition. And, some $20k less expensive than a Porsche Macon.

Honesty

I don’t like you have to push a button to have not turn off when stopping. It seems to make a noise when you’re just close to center or left side of lane. It has great pickup and is comfortable and fun to drive

A Standout Luxury SUV With a Few Quirks

The Genesis GV70 is an impressive luxury SUV that delivers a genuinely enjoyable driving experience. Handling is sharp and confident, and the car feels planted in a way that inspires trust. Steering and braking are noticeably firmer than what I’m used to in my BMW X3 and X5—BMW still has the edge in steering feel—but the GV70 remains engaging and fun to drive. Acceleration is strong, though not perfectly linear, likely due to the turbocharger’s power delivery. Where the GV70 really shines is in technology. The infotainment system is one of the best I’ve used, with a clean interface, fast responses, and excellent CarPlay integration. Even so, the native navigation system is surprisingly capable on its own. Driver‑assistance features are equally impressive, and Highway Driving Assist works well once you understand its boundaries. That said, a few behaviors take getting used to. Speed Limit Assist can automatically adjust the vehicle’s speed based on detected signs or navigation data, but in certain situations it can set a lower maximum speed than expected—leaving the accelerator unresponsive until cruise control is disengaged. Additionally, HDA can deactivate in complex situations without an audible alert, which would be helpful for driver awareness. Inside and out, the GV70 exudes quality. Fit and finish are excellent, materials feel premium, and the overall design stands out even in a crowded luxury segment. Road noise is minimal and comparable to our BMW X3, making the cabin a comfortable place to spend time. Overall, the GV70 is a compelling alternative to the traditional German options—beautifully built, packed with technology, and enjoyable to drive—just with a few quirks worth knowing.

Excellent ride, fit and finish

I’m very pleased with the engine performance, interior styling and overall appearance of the vehicle. Having driven in a wintery mix, the “snow traction” function performed noticeably well. The redundant technology options in the interior seem somewhat confusing and unnecessary.

This is my all time favorite car I’ve ever owned

I have had a good amount of luxury cars and this one tops the cake, from Mercedes to Jaguar to Audi and I’ve finally found my match! Great in the snow, gas, and all the features a lot of cars don’t come with these days! I’m proud to say I’m with Genesis for life now!
