A vehicle we are proud to drive

Our new GV80 has been an absolute joy to drive and own so far. It performs as good or better than anticipated, it is so comfortable on both long and short trips. While daunting at first, the technology advances in the vehicle are amazing and work very well. In short, we love the vehicle and feel we made an excellent choice to replace our Audi Q7.

Million-Dollar Feel without the Million-Dollar Deal

Genesis has done something remarkable: created a luxury SUV that doesn't just compete with the European heavyweights, it gives them a reason to check their rearview mirrors! My 2026 GV80 Prestige Black has exceeded my expectations. From its stunning styling and beautifully designed interior to its smooth performance, quiet ride, and impressive technology, this vehicle delivers exceptional luxury without the excessive price tag. Add the 10-year/100,000-mile powertrain warranty, complimentary maintenance, and excellent ownership benefits, and the value proposition becomes even more compelling. Is it perfect? Almost! I'd love to see passenger massage seats, integrated dashcam recording, and more infotainment customization. And please, Genesis, let me save my automatic stop-start preference so that button and I can finally end our daily disagreement! What I especially appreciate is Genesis's Korean philosophy of Son-nim, meaning "honored guest." It's a refreshing reminder that true luxury isn't just about the vehicle... It's about treating customers with genuine hospitality, respect, and care. Your mileage may vary, but my local Genesis of Annapolis, Maryland, embodies that. My verdict? Outstanding luxury, exceptional value, and absolutely zero buyer's remorse. Genesis has earned my confidence, and I'd happily buy another. Who says you have to spend a fortune to enjoy luxury?

Affordable Luxury in the fast lane!

I'm extremely pleased with my 2026 Genesis GV80 Prestige Black! The styling, comfort, performance, technology, and exceptional warranty coverage make it a fantastic luxury SUV that rivals much more expensive competitors (I conducted extensive research before my purchase). While a few refinements would make it even better, these are minor shortcomings in an otherwise outstanding vehicle. What particularly impresses me is Genesis's Korean philosophy of "Son-nim," meaning "honored guest," which emphasizes treating customers with genuine respect, care, and hospitality. It's refreshing to see a luxury brand recognize that the customer experience should be just as important as the vehicle itself. Your Annapolis, Maryland location represents this perfectly. Genesis has earned my confidence, and I hope they continue putting their customers first while pushing the boundaries of luxury and innovation. I'm excited to see where the brand goes next!

Stunning vehicle at an amazing price that's plagued with nuisances.

For every thing I love about this car there's something else that just annoys the hell out of me. Every sensor is just way too sensitive. There's no way to mute one without muting another one you still want to hear. They tried to be cute with the rotary shifter but it's right below the rotary infotainment controls so you're constantly grabbing the wrong one.

Really nice vehicle- except…

Appearance wise, this car is a beauty: smooth finishes, nice leather, comfortable and ergonomic. The digital screen could stand to have some more customization options as there’s nowhere to place the odometer where it can be clearly seen at all time without a HUD. I love the noticeable difference between driving modes: sport vs casual. (I love that sport mode!) However, my biggest gripe is how it handles on the expressway. And there was no way to know as test drives don’t typically include an expressway test. - I cannot stand how this genesis CONSTANTLY micro-corrects my steering - even with lane assist and steering assist completely off. I took it into service and tested another GV80 and it had the same exact feel on the highway: loose, wobbly, and not firmly planted on the road as one would expect with a 5000 pound vehicle. It almost feels as if the tires are loose or falling off. Even though I like all the other features of this car, the feel of driving on the highway outweighs the other positives of the car. In fact, I cannot wait to trade it in!!
