Gas mileage gas mileage gas mileage

I did a lot of homework prior to purchasing and the gas mileage is my biggest driving factor behind purchasing. Every day when I walk out of work and see my car in the parking lot I’m thankful I made a good decision.

Good

The car is very easy to drive and has great gas economy. I have some issues with opening the doors because of using the button to open all doors from the driver's side. Charging from 120 volt is slow but acceptable.

Great Car

This car overall is a great purchase. I love pretty much everything about it! The only things that are sorta bothersome, are the trunk rattle and the way the rearview window is set up. The rearview window is very small in comparison to other hatchbacks I have driven. That seems very insignificant though, I absolutely love the gas mileage and the audio system in this car. Definitely recommend if you are looking for something really spacious and also gas efficient.

Best quality for the price.

Excellent quality for the price. Software a little hard to understand but once you understand where and when to use it, is very helpful. Styling attracts attention. Gas mileage very good. Limited choice at dealership.

Decent Car, Wrong MSRP

The Ioniq is a very solid vehicle for what it is, a useful interior with awesome features. However the overall build quality of the car as well as the very low EV mile range, does NOT justify the MSRP point of $38k. This is a very similar MSRP of Tesla Model 3 which has a much better build quality as well as more battery range. If the MSRP were $7-10k cheaper than this car is an absolute must for a driver that isn't looking for luxury and would rather save money! This car otherwise drives great and has really cool features. Overall, luxury pricing for a non-luxury car.

Very satisfied with my 2021 Hyundai Ioniq plug in hybrid.

This car has the best MPG in the world. Hyundai is getting better year by year. I saw it catched up and bypassed Toyota. If anyone wants an hybrid car, the Hyundai Ioniq plug in hybrid is your choice. I highly recommend it.

Unbeatable value and mpg!

Purchased my Ioniq after researching and looking at multiple vehicles. The primary goal was something affordable that had a good warranty, good ratings, and was dependable with good fuel economy. This checked all of the boxes and absolutely blew me away with everything it had standard that were expensive upgrades in other models like the Prius. Have had no issues at all with it and the vehicle gets 50+ mpg in daily scenarios and is surprisingly nimble. The car is so light that it doesn't wallow around when in curves or turning and the steering is incredibly direct. Believe it or not, I would put it on par with my S2000 as far as feel. I wish some of my other "sports cars" had the same feel.

highly recommend drive was smooth and tech was awesome. family enjoys the quiet ride i love saving a pile of cash so i can take them on another vacation. at $.03 per kwh the vehicle costs about 10 bucks a month to keep full!

Great comfort & fuel economy

The Ioniq hybrid gets great fuel economy, is a very comfortable ride & has controls that are easy to use. We use it for in town trips & a 60+ mile trip to church each week & it works well in both settings - intown commuting and out on the open road. Well worth the money.

Perfect Commuter Car

The Ioniq has been the perfect car for my 40 mile one way commute. It's averaging a bit over 50mpgs hand calculated at highway speeds. The car's interior is very stylish and comfortable. Road noise is a small issue due to the hatch back design but it is manageable. The car is for someone who's main concern isn't performance, but for getting from A to B reliably, safely, and using as little fuel as possible. I chose the limited for the leather seats, but the SEL would probably be the best bargain for the price.

LImited model had all the features I wanted and some I didn’t know about until I bought the car

My girl friend who owns a Honda CRV was skeptical of the Ioniq as its lower to ground. She often drives it when we go places together. The 2 tone grey leather interior, extra safety and convenience features plus sunroof make the extra cost of the Limited well worth. The current cash back incentive for financing makes up for the extra cost

Buy it!

This vehicle exceeded my expectations. It is fun to drive, has an incredible range of features, and gets amazing gas mileage. This is the car to buy if you want to go green but aren't ready for a fully electric vehicle. This is certainly the next best thing and maybe better!

I've had the car for about 6 weeks, and am thoroughly enjoying it.

The 2021 Ioniq is more than I expected it to be, in terms of comfort, reliability, ease of use and appearance. My wife and I are enjoying it. The experience at Keyes Hyundai could not have been less stressful. I would consider doing business with them again.

Ioniq Plug-In Hybrid

Great vehicle, but check that your tire repair kit has a hose for connecting compressor to a tire (looks like my car doesn't have it and I'm not sure if I can fit a flat tire). Also, check the dealership uses "Plug In" in the vehicle name, or you will have trouble getting a rebate. I need to contact my dealership for fixing it..

i like it except for a radio problem: phone is linked using Apple Play wirelessly. When the phone is locked or an app is closed, the car radio always turns on, and we have to push the volume knob to turn the radio off.

Fun, Simple and (More) Socially Conscious

Considering news on climate change, I'm not sure that even the plug-in hybrid option was the right choice and going even cleaner may be even better. But the plug-in hybrid model can do 30 miles on electric alone, and we've gotten tremendous use out of that already by charging simply using a standard electrical outlet. The car is comfortable, easy to use, easy to drive, and high tech without feeling either complicated or overdone. Couldn't be happier with the decision.

Great car, excellent gas mileage, comfortable seating, great radio, smooth ride, would rather not have a split rear window and would like a rear wiper. Love the remote start and that the car has WiFi!

It's a hybrid, it's virtually silent, it practically drives itself, it has a neat built-in map function, and all sorts of other bells & whistles. It's like one of those cars from a sci-fi movie. What's not to like?

Beautiful car, great gas mileage

This is the second Hyundai Ioniq that I’ve purchased. There was no reason for me to get rid of the first one except to treat myself to a newer car. Since I loved my 2017 model, I bought the 2021 model.
