ok

I like the color and gas mileage but the cargo space is too small. I get a lot of compliments too...I was hoping that I would of gotten more for my trade in a Santa Fe since I had bought the Santa Fe at the same place I bought the Kona. I was not happy with that.

Hyundai Kona

SUV is small and very easy to drive- Road noise tends to be louder then other SUV's that I've driven. The gas mileage is excellent and almost as good as the Sonata's that I have recently owned. One issue is the small trunk space-To get any large item into the rear you have to put the rear seats down-overall an excellent SUV for city driving, i.e. Manhattan, Bronx, Queens, etc.

Love/Relationship with my Kona

The things that I love about my Kona are; the heated seats, the trunk size and storage, the gas mileage and the car handles the ice amazingly. The things I dislike about my Kona are; the seat belts are positioned horribly in the front seats and no matter where you adjust the seat it cuts into your neck. I hate the back seat, there is absolutely no room back there for adults let alone children, even my 3 year old is cramped back there and the Kona is a pretty wimpy car when it comes to accelerating on the freeway.

KONA IS AWESOME

Fantastic car overall. I bought one fully loaded and only a few things in the entire vehicle that disappoint. Would definitely purchase this car again even after running though the first 8000 miles, I'm still in love.

Love it

I really like my new Kona. There are some cons about it, but I can live wait them. The drive is very nice, there is some outside noise from the rear end.. Still learning what all the bells and whistles are!!

Love my Kona

I love my Kona, only that if I need to enter the freeway and there is a lot of traffic, it drowns when I accelerate, I was about to have an accident for that reason; the transmission takes longer than normal to change.

Kona is fun to drive.

I leased my Kona and I could not be happier with the reliability, the affordability and sportiness of the Kona. When you drive the Kona it is an extension of your hands, feet and mind. What with the backup camera and blind spot warning system. I really like the keyless ignition and entry. All you have to do is have the key on your person and you never have to produce it.

Kona Review

I've had my Kona for almost a year. I like the way it handles and I am getting 35 miles on a tank of gas(highway). I also like the styling of the car. I'd rather have leather seats as oppose to cloth. It's a good riding vehicle but could be less rugged on road bumps.

My Little Kona

We've owned our new Kona one year this month and it has not given us any trouble what soever. Due to the short wheel base the ride is not the best and there seems to be some road noise entering the interior from the rear wheel area. In some of the in town driving, if you don't come to a full stop the transmission can't make up its mind which gear to be in, but I have found out that if I move the gearshift handle over to the left, I can control which gear it is in which ends that problem if I want to do it. It is a four door but to sit in the back, you better have short legs as there is not much room, with me being 6'1" I need more room than most. Still a nice ride!

Kona, my new best friend

Kona is great. Rides smoothly especially in the snow. Love those heated seats. Gets great mileage and a little higher off the ground than a car but not as high as the SUV so much easier to get in & out.

nice cheap car

i love my Kona except for the sound system, compared to the one in my Sonata is very disappointing. the strereo really sucks in this car. Runs very good and fun to drive. disappointed that a cd player wasn't in it.

2018 Kona

I have had the car since August 2018; I like the car but I don’t love the car. My Santa Fe was much more comfortable to drive. Very glad I’m only leasing the car I would’ve been severely disappointed if I actually owned the car. Gas mileage is good.

So far no complaints at all

Good car, fun to drive with turbo. A little cramped to get into, is definitely a compact or subcompact. But long trips have proved comfortable. Pity any back seat passengers. Limited cargo room. With AWD does fine in snow. Be prepared to have folks get mad at brightness of headlights.

I really like it. Although, it is new and my comfort level when driving is through the roof. I am leasing and trying to care for the vehicle with utmost of care. This includes taking it to Ricart for regular service and car washes.

Small

Love the styling and performance. Falls short for ample room to carry much. Couldn’t get all my luggage in the back. Had to let the seat down. Interior is a little tight especially for the back seats.

This car is so much fun to drive. It handles really well in the snow, has great storage for a small car and is very comfortable. Apple Car Play is a great feature. Be sure to get the LED headlights!

Fun to drive

This car has pep and cute style. It fits my two kid with car seats, and cargo for mom life. It handles well in the snow and the gas MPG is on point. Love the smart tech in the car too! It fits two bags of grain for the horse or four suitcases in the hatchback and people ask me all the time what kind of car I'm driving.

The kona

The only thing to change is make it larger, turn this car into a mid size and all wheel drive with a normal engine and trans combo, not a turbo charged 7 speed manual/auto dual clutch clunker. But if only dreams came true, loving my car so far thou.

Long distance commute

I drive over 115 interstate miles a day. I feel the Kona is the perfect car for this. It has been a reliable, safe vehicle so far and I enjoy driving it. The engine is a bit loud, and nothing to write home to Mom about, but the car was not overpriced and so far I like it.

Great little SUV.

The Kona is a great little SUV, we leased the base SE model but after owning it for a while I should have gone for the top model with the 1.6 turbo engine. My wife complains that it has a hard time on any hill and she is right. The price is right though if you are looking to get an AWD vehicle for a little money. The Apple Car Play is standard, Honda only has it on higher models not base . After one year the Kona hasn't missed a beat and it handles like a sports sedan
