My new Kona

I absolutely love everything about my Kona. We went to the dealership looking to test drive a different Hyundai. When we walked in the showroom I saw the Kona first. That was all it took to make up my mind. I did , of course, test drive both vehicles. The Kona was the one I wanted. I guess it was love at first sight.

Love my Kona

I bought the vehicle when they were first being delivered to dealerships. I fell in love with the looks. It handles well. I bought the turbo model and it had good pickup. I love it and am so glad I made the purchase.

Happy Buyer

It is great quality for a low price. I like all the extras Hyundai give with its top version models. My Tiburon was the same. It is a SUV yet it still has a small footprint so it fits in Seattle's small parking places.

SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER than expected!

The Kona wasn't on our original search list, but we stopped by the dealership when we saw one out front and liked the look of it. We've never owned a Hyundai before and weren't sure what to expect. The car blew us away during the test drive! Everything was well-designed and logically laid out, and the car had more interior room than we expected. It also drove much better than we anticipated ... responsive, tight turns but smooth handling and a feel that it was incredibly well-equipped. We kept looking at it and asking 'how can a car that is 164 inches long look so good?' The lime accent package looks incredible in the interior and has been a favorite of people who've seen it. We have people asking at gas stations and stores "what is your car??" We are really excited about it so far!

No buyer’s remorse

I bought this car new two months ago and have been very pleased with it. I have the base model and it meets all my expectations. I find it to be comfortable and responsive. I particularly like the large display screen. It is surprisingly roomy even in the backseat.

Hits the sweet spot

The Hyundai Kona, especially in the two higher trim levels, has the best power available in the subcompact SUV class, along with the AWD option, and still stays under 35K. The Kona handles extremely well, and the Turbo engine is zippy. The overall ride feel exceeded my expectations, and when combined with all of the above, this new Kona hits a sweet spot I wasn't able to find in any other small SUV out there. Great job, Hyundai!

This vehicle turns heads

This vehicle has a great look. I have people stop and ask me about the car often. It drives like a dream. It has great acceleration with the Turbo and gives the feel of a sports car. The ride is comfortable and the interior is roomy. I love all the fun features of the car with the HUD (heads up display) and the phone charging pad, just to name a couple. The safety features are great too. The entertainment package is easy to use and the display screen is a great size. This car is fun to drive, gets great gas mileage and a great value for the money. I bought the first one off the truck. I love Hyundai and the quality of the vehicles. Once I saw the commercials and internet ads, I knew I had to have one. It was worth the 3 month wait. I give the highest recommendation to anyone looking at this vehicle.

This car looks great. It is sexy and peppy. Very responsive with great handling. Ride is a bit rough; you really feel the road. Very comfortable interior. Great value, lots of tech at a reasonable price.

I love it! It was time to replace my Veloster, which I greatly enjoyed. But I wanted something more reliable for snowy conditions. Thought about the Tucson, but when I learned of the Kona, I was sold! Happy with Turbo!

Purchased the new 2018 KONA SEL. Price was below the smaller sized SUV's. Has all of the same things SUV's have. It is comfortable, drives very well, great pickup in sport mode. Gets great gas mileage. Has enough storage for a long weekend away. Fits four people with comfort. A bunch of extras come standard. It's a great alternative for the price.

2.0L SEL AWD

While it's not the sportiest car available, it gets the job done. It's exceeded my expectations on fuel consumption as I drive 40 miles/64km one way for work. Driver comfort is great, my only concern is road noise when surfaces are wet. Otherwise I have yet to get this vehicle stuck, and I've tried.

Love this SUV

Finally a small SUV that is fun to drive too. It is good looking and has great safety features including cross traffic warning, blind spot indicator, forward collision avoidance, lane keeping assist. Plus it comes with a sunroof.

A great vehicle for a reasonable price

I traded in my 2005 Santa Fe for the Kona over a month ago, and I have been very happy ever since. When I went to the dealership, it was down to the Kona or the Tucson. The Kona just had everything I was looking for in a new vehicle. It drives like a dream! It has the height and storage space of an SUV but handles like a car. One of my favorite things about the Kona is how quiet it is. Saving money on gas is another big perk. I highly recommend the Kona for anyone who wants a SUV but don't want a giant gas-guzzling version.

Kona

I was thinking about a Tuscon, a Chevy Equinox, or a Nissan Rogue. But when I went to the Hyundai dealer and saw a Kona, I started researching it on line. I went to the dealer, had a test drive, and was impressed with the styling and ride of the car. I was sold!
