Tony loves the Kona

I wanted something to replace my wife's Honda CRV which is coming off lease. We both wanted AWD but not another SUV, neither of us like that sort of ride quality. I did not want to pay the price for a BMW or an Audi and I don't like any Subaru. The Kona drives like a sports car but still has AWD and gets great gas mileage I also owned a 2012 Sonata turbo and loved it. Great vehicle to consider if you want cool styling and fun to drive.

Kona 2018

The Kona is a great car. The Android system needs some tweaking but our issue could be related to phone. Drives well. Engine is quiet. The backseat is big enough for car set to fit. Gas mileage is okay.

I am very happy with my choice to purchase a Kona. I love driving it. It rides smooth and is quiet. Has ample power when needed and stops on a dime. Handles great in and around traffic. Gas mileage is impressive.

Great ride

From the second I saw this car I fell in love. From the sporty look to the metallic gray I got it in. The inside is comfortable to sit for hrs on the road. It’s fun to drive, not too big and not too small. Reasonable price and pretty good gas mileage so far. The trunk is a little small to me because my previous car had such a large trunk but the back seats go down if you need more room

Small, sporty and stylish SUV

I love my new Kona. I researched small SUV's online and liked what I found about Hyundai's newest model. I chose the SEL model with the tech package and it has everything I wanted and way more! I love the comfort of the cloth seats. The leather seats that are standard in the Limited and Ultimate editions were too firm for my liking. So the SEL with the tech package gave me the options I wanted, with the seats I preferred. The power adjustable, heated seat cloth driver's seat is perfect. It is a great looking vehicle from the sporty shape to the fun looking lights, (both headlights and taillights), to the grill and overall appearance. The interior is spacious and very comfortable. It has a nice tilt and sliding moon roof with a shade that adds to the fun. The Kona has numerous features that put it ahead of most vehicle in this class. The sound system is rich and full, safety features are plentiful - lane departure warning, blind spot detection, back up camera etc. The display screen is large and easy to read and use. If there is a down side to owning this vehicle, I haven't found it. Hyundai's are dependable, quality vehicles and the new Kona is no exception.

Totally satisfied with this vehicle. It is a lot easier to get in and out of. Has a lot better visability while driving. The back up cameras and object sensors are really good especially in store parking lots.

We love our new Kona It is a great riding car! savings love the fuel. Our dealership San Tan Hyundai was the best! We came for one car and bought 2. We can not ask for a better experience. our salesman Jay Schaeffer was the best! My husband sold cars so we know the drill!

Fun and Full of Performance!

We have had our Kona for about a month and it doesn't disappoint! Fun to drive, full of performance, user friendly interior, and just the right amount of space. The exterior is bold and sporty and catches the eye, yet is sophisticated.

My new Kona

I only went to the dealership for the Kona launch party, I had no intention to buy a new car. My Toyota Camry was only a year old & I loved it but the Kona sold itself. I was at valet parking to pick my vehicle up & the valet driver said “I love this car, it’s the best Hyundai has made”.

I love my 2018 Hyundai Kona. I love all the safety features. I love the Apple Car Play. I can drive without touching my phone. I can still answer calls listen to text. Even respond to text all without compromising safety for myself or others on the road. Love that you can’t lock yourself out. I just love my kona as do my Uber passengers.

2018 Hyundai Kona AWD with tech package

After looking at a vehicle for my mother, I fell in love with the Hyundai Kona. Really wanted a 2018 red one with FWD and the tech package. Dealership had a problem finding me one in red, so I settled for a red one with AWD. So far, I have not been disappointed. MPG was rated at 27 highway, I am averaging 36 MPG. I love my Kona!

Pretty, fun to drive, sister and daughter want to trade in their Foresters for Konas. I love it. They love it too! I love apple car play! I can see my maps and get to where I need to be without doing to much. Great car!!

Great buy

I love my kona yes it may be lower to the ground than i wished and the truck is small but the looks are great and it is super comfortable and gas mileage is awsome also the warranty is top notch i really have nothing to say negative about this car i have two small kids and it fits the car seats well and we have room up front, engine does well no complaints i wish i got the turbo but 10 out of 10 for this purchase

Fantastic

My new kona drives great. So many great features like lane assist and blind side detection. I am super pleased with its performance in all conditions. My only regretis is I didn't get the awd version of the car. But beyond that i enjoy every bit ofmy adventures in it.

Everything is working great except the Collision Avoidance system does not work. I have double checked the settings according to the User's Manual. Had a near collision where I had to brake very hard with no response from the system or warnings of any kind from the display.

First Hyundai

Come from along line Hondas, traded in my Honda HR-V for the Kona Ultimate. After a month of ownership I am quite pleased with the Kona. The 1.6L turbo is a joy in city driving, the drivers seat offers adjustments options which the HR-V did not have, the Kona comes with an impressive number of safety options and the heads up display is a joy. If the Konas interior were quieter and if the rear seats folded completely flat it would be an even greater joy to drive.

Love it great exterior styling, could use a better interior styling. Louder than expected road noise turbo lag from complete stop, not so much while cruising. Love the lights , not so much as far as the auto off fog lams when comes to stop.
